I am BACK!

And yes. Here I am. Sitting in front of this computer monitor...Back...and in black. *looks down at clothes*
Yep. All black. lol. I need to do some laundry here...
So the kayaking trip was super..interesting...And I did have fun. It was really odd being out there with all these strangers who knew my father better than I did though...Or rather they saw him more. One of the kids sees him almost every weekend.
I didn't see my father that often even when I lived with him.
It was a trip with my father...who wasn't really my father...And just uncomfortable knowing that for the most part.
But I did learn to combat roll and that is awesome. And I managed to catch MAJOR air on waves, and that is also VERY awesome. And I conquered the hole (a section of water that much resembles a washing machine in that the water just keeps swirling round and round). I went RIGHT THROUGH IT. It was on accident...I was just paddling, saw a wave and was like "Hey! I want to ride that!" and then I hit the wave...and nose bombed...and suddenly...my kayak wasn't moving forward...It was moving backward...which isn't right at all. I shouldn't have been flowing UPSTREAM. So I paddled my widdle bum off and got out of there with some struggle.
And then I did it again.

There was another group there while we were camping. They were from VERMONT and were with guides from RUSSIA and ECUADOR....camping and paddling in Maine...
They were there less than a day when their Russian guide, Misch, came waltzing into our camp to calmly ask if we had a vehicle he could borrow because one of his kids had just hacked their finger almost entirely off with an axe.
The nearest hospital was well over three hours away. And they couldn't perform the surgery that the kid needed.
Talk about being screwed.
But anywho I am back and missing all my friends who I haven't seen in OH SO LONG!!! *goes into social withdrawal*
My days off are Tuesday and Friday. And I only work until 2:00 on Sunday. SOMEBODY BE MY FRIEND!!!
