walkabout n stuff
monday> went down for a maccas sesh but only robby edders, robby g and civ were down there so after a brief kickabout, mainly consisting of attmpted "steven gerrard" passes, we (par rob g who had to take his sister somewhere) departed down to appetite to get food. after relaxing in st. answells park infront of the bowls tournament (pleasant) we decided to head down to hove lawns, where we played against an interesting contingent made up of chinese and senegalese individuals....which was nice apart from an over aggressive (but stupidly skilful) sengalese player. got worn out and walked up avec rob where hyder pulled up in his micra with dan le selles, and also to be graciously met by rob's mum for a lift.
had one of those annoying nights where yu plan to go out.... but just cant think of anything to do. so we didnt.
tuesday> met rudi in town at about 3.30, where we also re-met sara from blatch....havent seen her in AGES. anyway that was nice. headed down to pavillion gardens to meet up with dan and his new interest nina who he met on the russia trip. got down there to find they were being pestered by this drunk, yet suprisingly well spoken tramp. he went away soon after. chilled down there for a bit, g came over for a bit, before walking back into town, also passing alex n ella along the way. exchanged some euros, and got a pizza from piccolos. how could i forget about the £2.50 pizzas all this time?! went down to the beach (still with ru, dan and nina) where eventually ralph came down from his work experience in his suit. fix up look sharp indeed. left town at about 6.30.
met up with robby edders, ralph, alex colburn, tommy stews, brett, mikes n dan outside borders at 8.30 where we headed to a pub called the horse and carriage i think, which was in the lanes. it was good tho cos yu could sit outside. got a few pints and got a bit "j-kwon", and we left for a brief period in the mash tun. topped myself up with a jd n coke. then, headed over odeon way to see if i could spot clark etc.. or g etc.. outside the event. couldnt see either, so me, tom, alex and rob fortuitously got into the walkabout to meet up with fran and camilla. was fuuun. left walkabout at about 1 where we trekked up to tesco express, as well as getting a call from soph which was nice as i hadnt spoken to her for a while (miss tu) and got sandwiches and chilled in dyke road park for a bit, before completing the round trip back to our respective homes on foot.
today was going to go to the beach/polysics gig... but only egg was up for it and i dont have enough money rly as im meant to be saving for amerique. probably will just have a quieter night tonite. dammit.
