i saw the godfather of soul......live!
at the moment, life is good. i had a nice weekend involving a mini gig at corals followed by a student party on friday, which wasn't that amazing partywise, but me kiz and glenn had fun making pop songs in the garden. saturday, me and robby g ventured up to london to see the olympic music thingy..... was gooood. highlights included a suprisingly effective duet with james brown and will young..... and also mcfly! ahem.
got back at 9 and finished a tiring day off at sophies.....which is always welcome.
had a nothing day on sunday (i realised this when eating breakfast at 3 o clock in the afternoon...hmmm) with the only productive thing i did that day was to top up on some trevor sorbie (hairstuff). exactly.
today, what potentially would of been a day full of hard work, turned out to be relaxing and almost a lazy day. computing we just "discussed" html (i.e we sit there and try to absorb john's blurb, fighting the urge to doodle), art i got there 5 minutes late and was instantly dismissed cos there was no lesson.... so i then went to the field and read the office scripts with some vanilla coke. pish.
and psychology was just me and herry designing our questionnaire layout in the noisy olc. its sunny again, and also at the end of the day i helped a mother with her pram on the bus, and sat back down, slotted in my earphones to be welcomed back by some jay-z. i couldn't help but feel accomplished.
yes it's nice at the moment. i dont think even maths tmoro morning will be able to ruin my current high. hmmm.
