360 Degrees

Driving home from away,
My neighborhood becoming open season
for store bought and
State-line-crossed sparkling explosions,
I distanced myself from the 4th celebrations.
Driving home from away while
360 degrees of fireworks
brightened the sky in the distance.
The celebration was at a safe existence
And I was left with beauty streaking 360 degrees of
the sky.

How comforting.
