Louise Ruth's reaction to Johnson was pretty neat. I like how determined you've made Louise Ruth and that she's never going to sit back and not fight if she's conscious.

Not sure I agree with Jack's magnanimity towards Johnson, but then I think I have a different perspective of her then you. I will enjoy seeing what you pull out from her though. I do like Ianto has to work to act neutral towards her. As always, nice interaction and interplay between Ianto and Louise Ruth. Glad to see that Johnson volunteers to take her with her, rather than going with Ianto. Somehow, I just can't see that working well.

I like to think that Johnson likes Louise Ruth because, even though she knew she wouldn't be able to beat her in a million years, she still threw the punch.

I'd be interested as well to see what you think of this take on Johnson, and how you would have had her

I just have a difficult time seeing Johnson as a victim. Not that you've made her one, but I really didn't like her. COE left a very bitter taste in my mouth and some of it was due to her. The fact that you've shown her feeling remorse for Stephen's death has gone a long way to differentiating her from what I saw her as in COE. That and you establish pretty handily that she is a soldier and I can get behind a soldier mentality as a reason for some of her past actions.

I understand that, and at first I only wanted to see her as the bad guy, but then I thought that she is a soldier, like you said, and she was given a job to do. Whether she agreed with it or not, she had to carry it out.

I still don't agree with COE in many many ways, but there was just something about the character i did like, despite everything...
