Jack left quickly. Ianto’s shoulders slumped as he moved back towards Gwen and Clem.
“Where’s he off to then in such a hurry? Left the iron on has he?”
“Rhys, don’t.” Gwen scolded, but clearly looked at Ianto for an explanation.
“He’s gone to, er… He has a daughter,” Ianto stuttered out. “And a grandson. Taken hostage. He’s gone to see about them.”
“A daughter? Bloody hell,” Rhys muttered. “What else is that guy keeping from us?”
“Rhys, I said leave it, okay?”
“He’ll be back though,” Ianto said. Right now, he wasn’t sure who he was trying to convince.
