1. I remember the first time I saw you without glasses. It was in the theater, and the house lights were really low. Suddenly I saw this hot guy and I was all like "Damn, that boy is cute!" And then I looked closer and was like "Oh my God! It's Derek! And he's quite teh uber hotness!" Hehehe, you sexy beast, you! 2. I challenge you to, for one day, be COMPLETELY extroverted. Be flashy. Be wild. Go to ridiculous lengths to be flamboyant. I think it'd be something fun/interesting for you to do, as you're usually so down to earth and sensible. 3. a muted blue green, like the color of the ocean off the Oregon Coast. 4. You're so down to earth. You really seem to be able to look objectively at any situation, which is a rare quality. I also admire the fact that you had the courage to come out during high school. So many people I know here at SOU were only able to come out once they came to college, because it was a completely new environment. A lot of these people still haven't told anyone from home. You had the courage to come out to the people you've grown up with in the place where you've spent the first 18-19 years of your life. That takes SO much courage, and I admire you greatly for it. 5. There really isn't a destinct timeline in my head, besides the fact that by senior year it was insuferable to keep it to myself. I think I first started seeing it to myself sophomore year, but didn't come to accept it until sometime junior year.
