holding a 3 week old baby

my buddy Mas and his wife just had a baby, my first true friend to take the leap. my buddies James, Adam and i decided to go over tonight and cook them up a feast as in the last month they've barely had time for a microwaved dinner. cooking is great, but mini dinner parties for new parents are awesome. they were so grateful and the cashew nut chicken stir-fry, mandarin spinach salad, and chocolate marble cake with makeshift mango sauce was a blessing to partake in. this would be a great photo post but i didn't bring my camera, so you just get a mediocre re-telling from a still-kinda-itis'd-out guy in a food coma.

holding the baby was intense, as anyone who's held a weeks old baby will know. it would start to dose off in my arms and then snap back giving me a look of "wait a tick, i don't know you" but in being so cosy it succumed. guests always love babies cause they get to hold them when they're fed, changed and sleepy. watching Mas hold him well he fed him his bottle he mentioned that he was shitting diarrea while he was eating, so obviously he would have to be changed again. but the loving smile never left his face.
