Droit du Travail wasn't all that bad. Thankfully I'd revised everything that came up on the paper so it was relatively okay. The questions we got asked were about the rupture of a CNE, modifications to employment contracts, restraint of trade clauses and the effect of giving false answers to questions asked during a job interview, so it was ( Read more... )

I hear you.
If students tried to pull that stuff in the US, they'd all have been arrested in under an hour.
And if they threw tables at the police, like they did in Paris, they would have been beaten/clubbed/shot.
Our police don't play.

Well the crazy thing is that the French police are usually really violent! When they arrest people they don't just use "reasonable, proportionate force".. they beat the person to the ground, kick the shit out of them until they confess, then hurl them into the back of the car, barely conscious. The police in France don't seem to have a clue.

Oh, and I must ask you, are you the blonde that my friend Victoria and I were talking to at Republique tramstop a couple of weeks ago? :)

Well she's doing a huge tour of France with her friends. I think she will be returning to Orleans to collect her stuff, etc. but for all intents and purposes she's finished with this place.

So, do you still wanna meet up sometime?
