Holy crap!! This is so awesome, and not just because I own a certified pre-owned charcoal grey 2006 Honda Civic that I purchased for $16500. (I had to laugh at the coincidence.) I never did like Veronica's Saturn, not just because of the blatant product placement, but because, ghetto or no, the LeBaron was COOOL.
I love what you did with this story; all the voices are perfect, and the resolution of their epic drama feels true to canon and to the very best of their character arcs. The plot is great. Thank you so much for writing and posting this. Looking forward to the next part!
I love your story. I love that you delve into the complexities of their relationship. I love that you are making them face their issues. AND I love that while Logan acknowledges his "jackassery," he keeps calling Veronica a bitch. "Bitch is the new black!"
Finally have time to catch up on my reading. This is fantastic. I can't wait to see how it develops further and why more people haven't commented on it is beyond me.
It's so very in character. And how could anyone NOT like the fact that they're finally talking! Sure, Logan had to lock her in a moving vehicle in order to facilitate this talk, but who cares!
“If you hadn’t been such a jackass, the woman who drives the Saturn would talk to you. And the woman who drove the Le Baron? She didn’t know how to deal with you any better than the one who drives the Saturn does.”
“Can we not? Can you refrain from bringing up my jackassery? I promise, I won’t say anything about what a bitch you’ve been this year.”
That last sentence is killer--way to push us on to part 2!

Thanks for the compliments. I've been having fun with this, when it wasn't biting me in the ass. Stick around. Part two, coming up soon.

Thanks so much, there's so much I wish these two had said to each other in canon, the only way to see it done was in my head. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

This part is perfect--it totally sums up s3 L/V:
“If you hadn’t been such a jackass, the woman who drives the Saturn would talk to you. And the woman who drove the Le Baron? She didn’t know how to deal with you any better than the one who drives the Saturn does.”
