I don't know if I hate the entirety of Out Magazine, or if I just hate Michael Musto. Either way, I am basically spitting mad about the new issue with the so-called 'Power 50', the list of the 50 most powerful gay men and women in America. So mad about it I haven't been able to articulate the anger for a good three days

I say that because the idea that your sexual identity is a big part of your identity ties right into the whole showbizzxxzzxz YEAH FAME MONEY idea that what you drive up in determines who you'll be driving home with and how you dress determines who you'll be undressing (oh shit did I just paraphrase Henry Rollins? They are so Dream Factory that they have a Hollywood Everlovin' Blvd. address. Maybe it's my EAST COAST PRIDE talking here, but when has anything good ever come out of a Hollywood tabloid? I am not saying "do not be mad at them," of course, I am just suggesting that maybe you can take some comfort in the knowledge that each of the wretched souls who put out that particular rag are shallow empty creatures, their lives filled with little more than the petty desires and futile quest for immortality that so characterizes the existence of the hapless media drone.
