Eastward journey

It's hard to recall what it is that I missed most about my regular visits to Georgia. Part of the experience was adjusting to the new weather, inescapable, humid heat and impulsive bouts of heavy rain. Another part was spending countless hours re-orienting myself with what there was to do in such a faraway place. However, I was always most struck by how quaint the South could be. Life's pace was steady and not hurried. Politeness was more valued than confrontation. There was a culture shaped by a revolution centuries prior.

I've found that that far-eastern spirit carried  eastward, providing a variation of the reputed Southern hospitality... way-of-life... accent. It is something I am fond to experience, while here in Missouri.
