"Play it, Sam"
Seeing it on the big screen was a charming experience. It was one thing to watch it repeatedly on my channel-knobbed TV, but something about the theatre experience made it more enriching and moving. More than once, my eyes were slightly bleared by tragic hopelessness that Rick and Ilsa faced. And despite how often I've seen the film, I felt more immersed in the story than any modern movie has managed. I do love Casablanca.
