A bit early, but, it is December after all. Sorry for any spelling, grammar errors, or questions left unanswered, but this was literally written within half an hour starting at 7am this morning. Yeah, I'm nuts.

"What do you want for Christmas?"
"What?" Cain quietly replied. DG snuggled more into his side. They were curled up on their bed in the quiet little cabin Cain had built for them an annual ago to the day. Their one year anniversary was the reason they were in such a position now.
"What do you want for Christmas?" DG repeated. The soft light radiating from the fireplace reflected off of her pale skin in contrast to the bright moonlight coming in through the small windows.
Cain stroked her long hair, twirling his fingers around the raven locks, one of his favorite things to do. "When are you going to stop calling it that?" He asked.
DG snorted. "Sorry." Life in the O.Z. these past few years had all but eliminated her "other side" terminology, but for some reason, Christmas was different. It was the time of year she remembered most. The quiet cold nights spent in her family farm house back in Kansas. She could remember the howling wind and the hot cocoa Momster would make for her and Popsicle. She missed that.
"I guess it's one thing I'll never quite let go of." There was a tad sadness in her voice.
Cain hugged her closer. "It's ok. I was just teasing." He knew how much this time of year meant to her, and lessons in proper O.Z. terminology could wait.
DG smiled. "So?" She pressed the question.
Cain sighed. "Well, for Christmas, I'd like things to keep going as they are. I'm happy, and I don't really need anything DG. Whatever you come up with is fine."
DG laughed. "You are such a sap." She teased. "And a liar! I know you've been eyeing that new holster. "
Cain tried to hide his smile in the moonlight. "I don't know what you are talking about."
"Uh huh." DG wasn't fooled.
It was quiet for a few moments. The only sound was the crackling of the firewood.
"You know what I want?" DG's voice broke the silence. Now was as good as time as any.
"What?" Cain asked.
She hesitated for a moment. Then spoke. "A healthy first trimester."
There was a slight pause before he sat up in bed, pulling her along with him, the sheets sliding to reveal his bare chest. The moonlight reflected off his blonde hair, and she could see the sparkle in his eyes as he pulled her to him. His mouth was slightly agape.
She smiled brightly, her hand cupping his cheek, the other gripping the sheet to keep her bare form covered from the slight chill.
"You mean. . . you. . . we. . . really. . ." Cain was panting now.
"Yes." She cut him off, still smiling.
Cain laughed then, one of his boisterous laughs that she had come to love so much these last years.
She giggled as he gripped her tightly, feeling his early stubble rub against her cheek as he practically crushed her to him and kissed her. She loved him even more.
"Merry Christmas DG." Cain pulled her forehead against his, rubbing their noses together.
She smiled and kissed him again. "Merry Christmas Wyatt."
