Hee hee! Okay, so, I gotta say I'm sorry for not posting anything here lately. My siblings and I had a kinda St. Patrick's day festival and I think...er... I went a LITTLE heavy on absorbing energy so.. heh... yeah. Then I was fully operational yesterday and had LOADS of work to do. But I do have something fun for you and then something more serious.
So I looked online for ages trying to find a unique outfit to wear for St. Patrick's day. FINALLY I found this one- LOTS of sequins, just how I like it! It also is a bit... oh shall we say... risque! Heh! Of course, 9 rained on my parade (not literally of course) and rubbed it in that technically I'm clothes-less all the time so me putting on clothes really isn't risque but just plain silly. I think he's jealous that I only gave him a hat. 12 really liked the shamrock pendant. *smile*

*sigh* WHY does she like making me look like an idiot? I apologize for hat. I assure you, this was not my idea nor did I really wear a hat. We can't wear clothes. Despite the obvious reasons, logistically they just don't make them big enough. I think 10 has a small obsession with human culture- I apologize for her antics.

Whatever. Anyway. Okay then. Can I please have this journal to myself, just for a second? Suddenly I'm on it and it's all, "Oooh, let's hog the journal!" and I'm all, "Good grief, guys, it's not like you didn't have 3 days to post in it!" and they're all, "But it's so much more annoying to interrupt your posts", and I'm all, "well go get your own, by criminy!". Well, okay, they didn't say that but you get my idea. That would be if they did say it, but they didn't, but if they did that's what I *would* say, if they had said it which they didn't. But yeah! (Sorry, I kinda have conversations with myself sometimes.)
Now, for something just a little bit of a downer and because of this I'm putting it

My beloved fuse_sat gave me some heartbreaking news- it seems in about a month's time, poor 8 will be put out of commission for good. They're going to use the last of her energy to propel her above geostationary orbit and give her the final "power-down." I don't know how to tell the others this- ESPECIALLY 9. He and she were really close before her energy started giving out on her. I know that when they give her the final power down, that will also terminate her AI/AS- so essentially it's the satellite form of euthanasia. I really don't know how to handle this- she's kind of like our elderly older sister, you know? I'm just afraid maybe she won't have her AI/AS termed with the power-down and she'll wake up... What is gonna happen to her if I'm not there for her and she wakes up? She'll be scared- all out in space all alone. That's her worst nightmare! So I'm stuck- is there a program out there I could upload to make sure her AI/AS terminates? I mean, I hate to do it, it sounds so much like I'm murdering her... But if she does wake up, she'll be so scared and I can't blame her. I'd want 12 or 9 to do it for me. What do you guys think? Do you humans know of anything like this? Any programmers out there willing to help put a satellite out of misery? If only Elijah Wood was a computer programmer... *wistful satellite sighs*
