Because college is all we talk about during second semester apparently

I officially accepted GW today. Well technically I'm putting it in the mail tomorrow, but the check's been written, the letter of intent signed. So I'm going to Washington DC in August......unless I get off the wailist at Washington University in St. Louis, then I'll probably go there. But I might end up making a pros and cons list a la megan just to be sure I make the right decision.

But there is one thing that bothers me about GW. They have their orientation (or as they like to say "Colonial Inaguration" in the SUMMER. seriously who has their orientation in the summer?? it's three days long, so I'll have to fly out there in the summer and then again in the fall for school. so all the people that have to fly are pretty much getting screwed because we have to pay extra money for our plane tickets. PLUS there's five different "sessions" you can go to and the first one I can't go to because I'm literally graduating the first day of the CI (yea that's what they call it for short) so I can't go and I can't go to the last one because I'll be in Japan. So then I'm left with the middle three sessions. But the second and third ones conflict with my soccer tournament in Lake Tahoe, which I really don't want to miss and the fourth one ends on July 2nd so I probably wouldn't get back until July 3rd and then my July 4th trip would be shortened and I love that trip. So that sucksssss
