And the ferret wore....
...a TAM!
So we tried some shots with Cespenar, and he just wasn't digging the tam and the elastic band. We gave up after a few failed attempts. Discouraged, we decided we'd try Imoen, even though she is much more excitable and fidgety. To my suprise and delight, she posed for *36* shots before she decided she was done. Here are my three favorites...and my comments below:

I think my favorite is #2...mouth open, but she looks cute instead of creepy...and plus Jim makes similar faces when he plays! The other two, however, have a certain "cuteness" appeal because you can see their eyes. I think it all depends on who's looking at them....someone who likes small critters would thinks "So cute!" while someone who thinks ferrets are large rats would think "YUCK! It's got icky little teeth!"
The other drawback to these three is that you can't see the tam very well. Any pic where she was looking up was at the expense of the tam. But other pics such as this one....
...you can see the tam REALLY well, but she just looks bored. There are no in-between shots either. I may try to play around with my photo program...maybe I can brighten up the tam, but I'm not a digital guru. In any case, I thought I'd get some opinions....feel free to ask family and friends ("Can YOU tell what that is on her head???") .....let me know which one(s) you like best!!
