Six Hours of Musical Wonder!

Feb 25, 2004 00:47

Phew, just got out of my six hour final dress rehersal for my musical. Woo-boy! Dinner beforehand was glorious! Two wonderful people, David and Sarah, happily proposed that the three of us sit together for the evening meal. What a blessing! I wouldn't say that I'm anti-social, but I have eaten by myself, reading, almost every meal. Sometimes I'll run into someone from church (I don't have time to go to campus ministries until the play is over- that will change things!), or someone from my hall, and on one occasion I asked if I could join some folks having a conversation on God. Tonight was a nice change! I love my reading, but I do enough, haha... well, not enough of my Finite text book... or my Bible... just... leisure reading. Maybe I should major in leisure reading... I'm on Proverbs 23 now... so I'm definatley behind, but wiht my current schedule I am pretty happy with it, and Proverbs has so many easily taken points that it's worth spreading out for more reflection....

Scripture of the Day- "Do not join those who drink too much wine, or gorge themselves with meat." - Proverbs 23:20
