Guys, can I just say that I'm so happy how everything is turning out with this community event? I had no idea that everything would work so flawlessly for this project. Every time I see a post on the comm about someone receiving their gift I get so happy for another perfect transaction!
Going into this project I was a bit worried; what with all the recent disappearances, I was kind of afraid we might get some people who signed up and then dropped off the face of the planet, but no! Not for our project! I've had amazing communications with all the participants and it makes me so happy to see everyone working together to find a perfect gift and send it out on time. <3
Have I even mentioned my fabulous cohosts? ALLIE and RACHELLE you guys are the best: so supportive and helpful. You made this event possible!
What makes me the happiest is to see how we're working on making the comm more of a community. The members become more than just a user pic; they're a fellow collector with interests to shop for and support! I admit that I learned a lot of new names and made a bunch of new friends in the process and isn't that what our comm is supposed to be about? I really hope we can do this again next year. I would even be happy doing more than one exchange per year! This was a fabulous experience, especially during the transition from member to mod for all three hosts. <3
