Lean not on your own understanding.

Trust: giving God control over our lives
- passive?  - facedown?  - act of surrender?

◘  Trust is active
◘  Trust requires obedience Job
- - that God's commands are trustworthy

→  Is it possible to fully trust, fully relinquish
           control in this life, in this world?

Questioning God -
Gideon (Judges 6);
Test the spirits (1 Jn 4)
~ discernment

→  Who biblically trusts God wholeheartedly?
◘  Job:  faith / trust despite not understanding

◘  Mk 9:24 - the father in the crowd:
" help me overcome my unbelief!"

→  Is God active, does he care about the finer details of our daily lives?

Rom 8: 26 - 28  [God's spirit] knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.
