Into that void, an old familiar lilting voice - from over a decade ago;
who propped up my Sunday nights,
gave me food for thought for the week ahead;
so fitting now to hear his voice again - reflecting on Psalm 55:
God, who is enthroned from of old,
who does not change-
... and in saying God does not change, he doesn't say this in the sense that a block of granite does not change. God's constancy has a moral quality about it. It means God will not suffer compassion fatigue when we bring our cares to Him. ...
Cast your cares on the Lord - says the Psalmist - and he will sustain you
A blessing for uncertain times:

May they keep you curious;
A blessing on your fears
May they keep you safe;
A blessing on your hopes
May they keep you going;
A blessing on your fantasies
May they keep your creativity;
A blessing on your longings
May they keep warmth in your heart;
A blessing on your worries

A blessing on your strengths
May they keep others safe in your embrace.
