Luke 2: 22 - 40: Jesus presented in the Temple
".. For my eyes have seen your salvation,
which you have prepared in the sight of all nations:
a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and the glory of your people Israel.”
God’s promise prevails
- that sometimes you may have to go through the pain to reach the peace
- that you may feel confused or like you don’t understand why*
but that you are never alone
- that we will be fully reconciled.
So whilst things may feel tricky or painful or unsettling - the however is that -
God, as the Trinity, is always there: to comfort & lift up; to help us stand firm.
*Jars of clay: "perplexed, but not driven to despair"

“Immanuel” (‘From the squalor of a borrowed stable’)Now He's standing in the place of honour,
Crowned with glory on the highest throne,
Interceding for His own beloved
Till His Father calls to bring them home.
