Sometimes you don't hear an answer until you're willing to listen.

38. The Lord Speaks
Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm. He said:

“Who is this that obscures my plans
with words without knowledge?
Brace yourself like a man;
I will question you,
and you shall answer me.

40 Then the Lord said to Job,
“Do you still want to argue with the Almighty?
You are God’s critic, but do you have the answers?”

- God's plan is ultimately good. -

Job Responds to the Lord

Then Job replied to the Lord,
“I am nothing-how could I ever find the answers?
I will cover my mouth with my hand.
I have said too much already.
I have nothing more to say.”
       .........................

I am not skilled to understand
What God hath willed,
 what God hath planned;
I only know at His right hand
Stands One who is my Saviour.

In light of what's taken place in Belgium
this week, this, above & below, readily becomes our prayer.

... When we are all despairing,
    when the world is full of grief,
    when we see no way ahead
    and hope has gone away:

Roll back the stone.
