Cereal and City Life
We have had quite the eventful week, full of fun, parties, and baby steps.
Our little family acquired its first Christmas tree and decorated it with red, green, and blue lights, along with Johnny's and my combined collections of ornaments. We'll add Zach's "baby's first" after he opens it on Christmas Day and plays with the wrapping.
Zach rose to the monumental task of trying rice cereal on Friday morning. He ate it like a champ. Not only did he destroy what I spoon-fed him, the little man sucked the remains off his bib. He's a cereal-eating beast. He also laughed out loud on Friday morning...at red spatulas, no less.
We spent the weekend in Boulder, which made me pine for civilization. I am so anxious to move there and put a stop to the pioneer lifestyle. Which, to a Floridian, means no mall or 24 hr. restaurants.
Next weekend it's back to the Denver area to see Luke and the Stewies. *SO* stoked.
Had some spicy BBQ sauce at Ryan's house-warming party today. Big mistake with sad consequences for poor little Zachy and his poor little tummy. He's finally drifted off to sleep. And now it's my turn. Everyone stay warm and keep counting down till Christmas.
