Heather's epic ongoing adventures at a_facility

Updated bi-weekly, specific events of tags can be added or removed by players' requests, just ask! <3 and unless it's super cracky or otherwise noted/requested, I will most likely treat the events of Fac memes as part of her canon.

Once upon a time, a snotty blonde teenager was kidnapped from home and forced to travel to a strange place called the the Facility. When Heather arrived in Fac, there was no gravity. She was rather displeased about this, and shouted a lot and tried to rip her bedframe apart. A man named Aikawa approached her and calmed her down, and taught her to "swim" in the zero gravity. Due to her compulsive need to latch onto father figures because during her time as Alessa, she had no father to speak of, she grew attached to him pretty quickly. She met many interesting (and creepy) people during that first week. One of the most notable of these new accquaintences(sp) was Sasha Nein, Alessa's surrogate father at Fac and a psychic therapist who calmed her down and made her feel better about her place at Fac. He even brought her a katana that Eddie had made, free of charge, and made her feel like someone actually cared about her. It was an odd feeling in his place. She also met a woman named Lucy, and immediately they became bitter enemies and started on a brutal course of snarking at each other.

During that first week, Heather also met Sollux Captor, a young troll who remembered her from her previous time in Fac (which, until then, she did not remember having, but she slowly began to regain bits and pieces of a memory of her previous time, made much easier by the fact that the previous Heather-mun roleplayed Heather the same way her mun did). Because of this, and because she had trusted him before, she found herself trusting him again. They bonded over their common snarkiness, and Heather decided he was just gangsta enough to maybe call a friend.

The next week, Heather accidentally left her 'berry recording while she was crying because she missed her father. A number of individuals stepped in to cheer her up such as Usagi, Alex Shepherd, and Sasha. She and Usagi painted Usagi's bedroom together and Heather shared bits and pieces of information about herself, and Usagi did the same. After talking with Alex, she invited herself down to his room to cheer him up after he got depressed too, and the two bonded over chocolate bars that Elle Holloway had gotten in Haven and given to Heather. It turned out the two of them were both from the same world, and he was from Shepherd's Glen, which was near Silent Hill. Heather opened up just a bit to him, feeling she could trust him because he was an ally in the same fight as she was. Then, she and Sasha went to the biodome to skip rocks and bonded while talking about lamps and Heather's father. Probably without him even realizing it, Heather grew more attached to Sasha than she even wanted to admit, appreciating everything he was doing for her.

When Saw week came around and Heather was forced into a trap that made her choose between burning herself alive and allowing someone else to burn in her place, she did not handle the situation well. Sollux immediately tried to convince Heather to let him take the punishment instead, as did Superman, but she refused adamantly. While she was struggling with her fear, Alessa appeared. Heather had heard Alessa was in the Facility before, but she had never actually seen her. Alessa taunted Heather and told her to make her choice. After convincing Sollux to stay on the line with her, she pushed through the fire and allowed herself to burn for a moment until she escaped the flames. Sollux stayed and talked to her the whole time, bringing her water and making sure she was okay. After that, Superman brought in Namine to help as he'd promised he would, and she healed Heather's wounds. She was on the way to recovery, though she still had deep emotional scars from the trauma she had suffered.

The next week, Heather awoke to find that the facility had been filled with mud, and that she was clad in nothing but a bikini. She was furious about this and voiced it. Loudly. She made a transmission about the state of things as well as a lamely locked one to thank those who had helped her during her traumatic event. Namine and Superman were very gracious about it, and Heather grew closer to them as she got a chance to speak to her saviors. She and Sollux joked around about her lack of hacking skills, and she tried to thank him properly but it just ended up with bad fish puns and awkwardness and them both laughing a lot. Heather began to realize that Sollux was very important to her. Then, he asked her questions about what had gone down in Silent Hill, and due to his mistaken perception of human emotions from his troll standpoint, he believed Alessa's hatred for Heather was a romantic interest, and he told Heather such. Needless to say, she was freaked out and grossed out beyond all reason, believing Alessa had a crush on her.

Also during mud week, Heather received help from a man named Harry Dresden, in the form his brown coat that he let her wear over her bikini. Heather could not help getting attached to him right off the bat, as he reminded her fiercely of her late father.

Heather forgot about the situation with Alessa for a while, mostly because the Fac was suddenly overrun by plants running amok, and she spent her week collecting fruit and chopping up plants with her katana. She managed to save Namine from the grip of the plants at one point, and felt better have repaid a favor. However, after the "observations report" stated that Alessa had a crush on her, she remembered to send a poorly locked video feed to Alessa asking her what the hell. Alessa was as freaked out as she was, and they got into a fight. Then, Heather asked Alessa why she hated her so much. Alessa told her that it was because they had done horrible things (Alessa had and Heather had when she was Alessa, not to mention the things Heather herself had done in Silent Hill), and that they did not deserve to be happy and they deserved their role and their punishment. Alessa was bitter that Heather was so happy and was rejecting her role as the Mother of God. Heather ended up shouting at Alessa and basically wrote her off and told her to "get over it". She tried to convince Alessa to allow herself be happy with her new family, but to no avail.

Later, Heather was able to take her mind off of things when she got to dress Usagi up like Sadako Yamamura and Usagi gave her some makeup tips. They talked a lot about their pasts. Also, after having a conversation with Siri, the other woman offered to give her some lessons and tips of first aid in case she ever needed it. Heather agreed, though secretly was a little nervous about it.

The next experiment was the most daunting so far; it was leaked that the Consortium was releasing chemicals into the air of the entire facility to give the residents chemical lobotomies, and their brain functions would soon shut down almost completely and they would be unrecognizable as the people they were before. And so, Heather's natural reaction was, of course, to put on a Halloween mask and scare the shit out of everybody for kicks, hoping to lighten the mood. Harry was the only one amused. Sollux was freaked out, thinking she'd gone insane, and it began to dawn on Heather that he'd been worried about her. They had a pretty meaningful conversation, the end result being "HEY LET'S HAVE A SLEEPOVER HYUK HYUK", and they watched movies and just generally acted like friends, something Heather was not used to.

Harry's birthday also happened to be during that week, so he and Heather celebrated with Hershey's bars and hamburgers, and just generally palled around. It made her feel a lot better about the things that were happening.

It turned out that the effects of the lobotomies were reversed before they became too serious, and life went on as normal, though Heather was instilled with the knowledge that the people who had helped her so far, as well as her two closest friends (Sollux and Usagi), were very important to her, more than she had realized. She began medical training with Siri, as awkward as she felt trying to learn to trust an older female after what she experienced at the hands of Dahlia when she was Alessa. However, Siri reminded her of Lisa Garland and she was able to put her hangups aside and bond a little while learning about proper wound treatment. She also learned how to treat severe burns, just in case there was ever a repeat of what happened during Saw week. Then, Superman posted about a school he hoped to open, and Heather jumped at the chance to become a teacher at it and teach those young whippersnappers a think or two.

Then, she had a mishap when she accidentally recorded herself touching up her roots, in front of her usually-covered mirror in her bra, signing a Justin Timberlake song. Embarrassment ensued. Many people stepped in to lol and be awkward, including Sollux, Harry, Eddie, and even Alessa. She and Alessa had been having conversations about Heather's role lately, but they actually managed to have a semi-pleasant conversation.

Also during the off week after lobotomy week, she met a little girl named Chihiro who was looking for her parents. They had a conversation and Heather really began to realize that when people left, they were sent to the incinerator and not home... but she had been here before, as Eddie had told her. And so she began to contemplate her own mortality and the role of the residents of the facility, and worry about the possibility of her new friends being incinerated, though she could not even know how valid of a worry that was.

After that, Heather woke up one morning with her right foot missing. Needless to say, she was not at all happy about it, and she pissed and moaned and hunted for it everywhere, until Sollux found it and brought it to her. She also found Yujinn's eyes and returned them to him.

Heather woke up the next week with her foot mercifully reattached, but she was now invisible. Needless to say, this resulted in quite a lot of irritation at first on her part (though the irritation was mostly due to the fact that she was wet; Komui had accidentally set off the sprinklers in the ENTIRE FACILITY). But gradually, she began to have fun with it.

Also, she officially made plans to teach melee weapon combat to the inexperienced ones of the group of students for Superman and Midnighter's school, as well as to teach a practical class on the occult and how to deal with it and fight it off when necessary. Heather was extremely excited about this prospect and threw herself into preparing to teach. She was so excited that she jabbered about it to anyone who would listen.

And then she happened to offhandedly notice that she had not heard from Usagi in a very long time... was something sinister afoot!?

The next week, Heather sent out a transmission looking for information on Usagi, and Komui told her that she had been terminated. At first, Heather was disbelieving, and then distraught. For a time she was depressed and then the depression turned to rage, and she was overcome by the more violent side of her personality and began to feel the part of her that had caused her to be called a witch when she was Alessa; the cold and brutal power to kill. Alessa calmed her down a bit and explained to her why she was feeling the way she was, and talked her through it. This marked the first time the two had gotten along in the Facility and it cheered her up a lot. Sasha also talked to Heather about her sadness and worked out that she had depression left over from her father's death. He recommended that she see Milla for help and also suggested that she paint her room as she and Usagi had planned to do together as a tribute to her friend. Siri showed up to lend a helping hand as well, and Heather felt better bonding further with an older woman that she could count on, one who was nothing like Dahlia. Sollux also showed his uncanny ability to make her feel better and laugh when she was on the verge of breaking down, turning the conversation from depressing to funny and actually making her burst into laughter several times, reminding her again just how happy she was to have a friend like him.

Heather cheered up quite a bit over the next few weeks, painting her room apricot and dedicating a wall to Usagi's memory, where various other residents came down and added things to to commemorate her. She also began teaching her class for Superman, on the occult and melee combat. Also, she bet on Yujinn for the Facility's bachelor auction, trying to cheer herself up, and won. The two shared a lot of conversation and Heather felt much better after spending an evening with her charming and caring friend.

Not long after, Heather approached the psychonaut Milla for help controlling her psychic powers. Originally she wanted to get rid of them, but Milla explained that it wasn't possible and she simply needed to learn to embrace and control them. Heather did not mention her depression, deciding to see if she could trust Milla fully before she shared any personal information about herself. Despite how many close relationships she had formed in the Facility, she still had trouble letting people close.

Soon after, putting a dent into Heather's progress of healing, was an experiment where some of the Fac residents were replaced by puppets controlled by the interns, puppets who were evil and cruel and turned their friends against them. Heather encountered puppet!Aikawa when she saw a video of him exploding his head, and he maintained his innocence even while performing self-mutilation to scare her. Eventually, after being suitably mentally scarred, Heather realized that he was not truly Aikawa and refused to buy in to any more of his terror-inducing display.

The next week, Heather woke up in excruciating pain, coming from her shoulder blades. There were lumps forming there, pushing against her skin, stretching it, and causing unbelievable agony. Heather tried to cut the lumps open to release the pressure with her katana but to no avail. Alessa offered to help and Heather readily agreed, simply wanting an end to the pain. But what were the strange lumps?

Alessa sliced through the skin of Heather's back, revealing a pair of darkish gray wings, and Heather was both horrified and intrigued. She learned to fly over the remaining days of the experiment and just generally had a good old time with it, though it worried her that her wings were so dark, since their color determined the amount of good and evil in the person (white being good, black evil).

The next week, things around the facility seemed to be conspiring so that the residents could not get any sleep. Try as she might, a loud sound or some other annoyance woke Heather every time she tried to sleep that week. Eventually, later in the week, she began to hallucinate. She experienced visions of the monsters she had encountered in Silent Hill. She fought back and killed as many as she could despite the fact that many of her friends told her they weren't really there.

For the next week, Heather was comatose, and during this time Siri was terminated. When she woke up, it was just after Christmas, and she and Sollux exchanged gifts (she got him a hideous sweater and a copy of Une Notte, and he made her her own zombie video game). Heather because to become suspicious about Siri's absence, but she didn't have much time to mourn or even really realize it had happened, however, because when she woke up one morning, rather than being in the normal facility, the residents were in F3. This time around F3 was a strange western style town called Hope's End, full of bizarre things and even more bizarre people. Heather enjoyed her time there, as there were many people from other worlds to talk to and cowboy hats to wear. She spent some time in the mine, killing the monsters that she encountered there, and she made may new friends. Notably she encountered another version of herself, which freaked her out to no end. But she was also able to spend some time with Siri and her father, and she got closure with both of them and the chance to say goodbye and make then realize how important they were to her. As happy as she was having the two of them back, she realized that it couldn't last forever.
And thus Heather's adventures in Fac continued...
