(no subject)
Since I have no shame in my dorkiness or my disney fandom, I shall share with all of you that I saw Cars yesterday (with my father). It was very cute. Pixar always has high standards so they never let their audience down. Though I must admit, the parts I laughed the hardest at were the credits. I won't go into detail, but any pixar fan knows that they always do something special at the end. I was not dissapointed.
I also found it very cool that so many nascar related people lent their voices to the movie. I'm not a fan of nascar in the "I live for it gonna put dale jr stickers on my monte" kind of way...I mean I honestly couldn't name more than two of three people that are in nascar. I am a fan in the sense that I will put it on while I am online or whatever just because I love the sound of the cars roaring along the track. Although it doesn't hurt that my type of car is a nascar vehicle :) Yea...I'm a freak. Wanna fight about it? :P
Okay, enough uber dorkiness on that end. I shall turn to the computer dork within and tell you all how I spent over an hour with verizon tech support trying to get my dad's laptop looked up to DSL. In the end, it didn't work and somehow in the process Verizon did a test and f-ed up my desktop, which I then spent approx. 20 minutes fixing. It was a looooooong hour, let me tell you. Worst of all, the gu had a hardcore accent....f-ing outsourcing.
Ok, I'm done now :) Just have to make it through the workday, then off to play softball!!! Enjoy the sun with low humidity folks! :)
