Could DreamFinder be returning to WDW? This headline at one of my favortite Disney related websites nearly caused me to spit coffee out onto the screen! **crosses fingers** I must not get my hopes up, I must not get my hopes up, I must not....oh who am I kidding!?!?! **jumps up and down**
Also, did you ever wonder why the Walt Disney Company just spent $7.4 billion to acquire Pixar Animation Studios??? I have that answer as well.
You remember the Disney War from last year? Where Michael Eisner, (The dreaded M.E. as we called him to keep from getting fired/in trouble, because in his mind, "It's all about ME!") kicked Roy Disney OUT of the Walt Disney Company? Welp, Disney was having problems acquiring Pixar because of bad beef between Eisner and Steve Jobs... SO- to hurt ROY DISNEY- Eisner closed and sold Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida. He basically sold the offices... but because he thought he had done enough damage to Pixar/Disney's relationship with each other-- he sold the studio to PIXAR! This was more of a blessing than a curse! Do you know what that means? I do believe in the near future Roy Disney is going to Re-Open Feature Animation Florida at the Disney-MGM Studios!!! :)
Keep an eye out for that! At the very least, they've got the animation building back!! :)
Keep a look out- I'm going down in June, and I'll stop by the backlot and see if there's any action going on back there!! :)
ALSO --- The Disney-MGM-Studios Backlot is a REAL, WORKING, MOVIE STUDIO. And after about 1996 nothing was filmed there- all production stopped... again, because of Eisner. Guess what? Who Wants To Be A Millionaire was FILMED THERE at the Who Wants to be a Millionaire?PLAY IT! Attraction about a week ago!! Do you know what that means? Disney is ONCE-AGAIN using it's production studio and it's movie studio back there!! So look out for productions distributed by "BUENA VISTA TELEVISION" <--- BUENA VISTA TELEVISION is one of the working titles for the Disney-MGM-Studios backlot productions! They are produced at the Roy O. Disney production Center backstage! :)
I'll give you an update again, on everything. It's all very, very exciting. Some positive changes are happening for the first time in about 14 years with the Disney Company!! Morale is back up again now that Eisner's done. Someone stick a fork in his eyeballs! ;)
I'll keep you up to date on all the kick-ass happenings going on! :)
