Long time no see

Feh, not much to report. Same ole grind every day. No transplant to speak of for at least two years. I don't know why but I've been obsessed with French Bulldogs lately, I know a third dog would be quite a dramatic change, especially when I'm having a hard time with with the two we have already. Maybe that's it, I want a smallish dog I don't have to be afraid of harming me in my fragile state, so to speak. I don't know, maybe I just want something to distract me while I wait two years to be put on the transplant list, because that was a heavy blow to take. I wouldn't have thought I would have to wait so long since it was a contained cancer that they found, I didn't require any follow up treatment, and if they removed the other one it shouldn't even be a concern. Oh well, not much I can do about it other than to be patient.

Oh wait, I do have something new and exciting to share! I got a brand spanking new KIA Soul, alien green! And the first weekend in June I went to a meet at Niagara Falls (me mum drove and Nicki tagged along) to hang out with this group of people who also have Souls that I met online through a forum/fan site, there are clubs for different regions like SoCal for those in California, or SESC for South East Soul Club. We're part of NESC the North East Soul Club. We got hit hard with rain as soon as we showed up and some jerk drove all the way from NJ to tell a fellow member that he didn't like him, he thought he was a bad person and if he could get away with it he would drop him. I was standing right there. This guy wasn't even a registered member, he says he lurks our forums. Regardless we had a good time. Once the rain let up Nicki, my mom and I went to check out the falls. Nicki had never seen the falls in person. We also took her on the maid of the mist. If it wasn't too much stair climbing (my weakness) we would have done the Cave of Winds too. We got to the falls at 10am, stayed until about 7ish, got home around 9ish. Oh yeah, while it was raining we ran to the gift shop to get dry and to grab some warm clothes because we had dressed for a partly cloudy 80 degree day, not monsoon season, lol. While in there we did one of those green screen photo shoots and had a photo made of us going over the falls in barrels, it's hilarious! Did I mention that the night before I dyed my hair and when I was getting drenched I had dye running down my face and everything, it was a mess! Luckily the color didn't completely wash out, haha.
