So, a funny story.
I totally just remembered something funny that happened to me at school on Tuesday.
I brought my laptop with me to school, and while I was eating lunch in the Union, I was watching D no Arashi with my headphones on. Usually when I watch stuff in the Union, I'll go upstairs to where people are all on their laptops or talking to people or just generally chillin, but since I was eating I was still in the food court area. Anyway, so I'm about halfway through an episode when this guy comes up to me. He's like, "What are you watching? Can you understand it?" I was like, "Well, sort of, but I'm not fluent, so the subtitles help." Then he asked me if it was Chinese or Japanese or what, so I told him Japanese, and then he was like, "That's really cool! I'm not just saying that cuz you're white or anything" (he was Asian, btw) and I was like "LOL It's okay, I've always been a minority in Japanese class and stuff." Anyway, it was really funny and random.
I finally, officially finished D no Arashi. I'm sad! ;_; But not too sad. I'm currently dl'ing the newest release of G no Arashi, which I am quite excited to watch. :D EDIT: OH MY GOSH. YOU GUYS. G no Arashi 17 is seriously epic. So many lulz. Jun was super dorky for some reason which was so fun to watch. And I think the all had moments of epic failure with their, um, cheerleading, which was very entertaining to watch. :D This is probably my favorite episode of G no Arashi so far.
Work actually wasn't terrible today. The worst part was that I had to get up at 5am to be at work at 5:45, so I really wasn't feeling like myself today. The Rock Star didn't help quite as much as I was hoping it would. Ah well. The eight hours went by pretty quickly, really. Then I came home and spent most of my afternoon reading The Only Alien on the Planet, which is pretty much my absolute favorite book of all time. ♥ Oh, and I took a nap. :D Then my parents took my brother and I out to Golden Corral for dinner, which is this AWESOME buffet unlike Hometown where the food is all really fresh and really good. I was SO FULL but it felt really good cuz it was my only proper meal all day, really. Then we came home and watched Nightmare Before Christmas cuz my brother figures it's a Thanksgiving movie, what with Thanksgiving being between Halloween and Christmas. That's my brother's logic for you. But man, I love that movie. SO MUCH. :D I guess I was really feelin it today cuz now I'm listening to Nightmare Revisited. Ahhh good stuff. I actually had quite a nice day after I got off work.
Tomorrow will be a lovely if for no other reason than I don't work. ♥ We're getting our Christmas tree tomorrow! :D And tomorrow is Paul's birthday and we're going to Mikuni. I am so gonna eat me some delicious raw fish. ♥
