NOW my birthday is over.

Saturday was the Long-Awaited Party! (LOTR reference, anyone...? No? Okay, moving on.) It was a lot of fun, so thanks to everyone that came, even though BJ's kicked us out after a measly two hours! (Poor Chris Lamb and Ray who got there not five minutes before we had to leave... ^_^'') It was awesome to see everyone there, especially people I haven't seen in a while, like Nick and Shar! Pictures are probably up, so I might edit this and link to some of them, but for now, here's a video Shar took of me and Sacchan getting and eating our pazookies. (Sacchan had obviously been drinking. ^_^'')

Afterwards, me, Yuri, Alaina, my brother, and his friend Miko all went to karaoke! I think it was Yuri and Alaina's first time doing karaoke since they moved to America, so it's been quite a long time! It was a lot of fun- a lot of JE songs were sung, and we tried to dance to a couple of them, but kinda failed, haha. We sang plenty of non-JE songs too, and even a few *gasp* American songs (although that was mostly my brother, haha- props to him putting up with all our Japanese songs when he was the only one there who doesn't speak any Japanese). By the end of the night, our throats were hurting and we felt kind of gross from the smoky room and everything, but it was pretty great. We should go again sometime~

The only thing exciting about yesterday was when I came home from work...and there was no power. LAME. I sat around talking to my family by candlelight for a while, haha, and then watched Yasuko to Kenji and an episode of D no Arashi until my laptop battery died (it only lasts for like an hour -_-''). I'm actually sort of enjoying D no Arashi with all the random stuff they go to do- this episode (the second one) was Aiba looking for some certain kind of seaweed, and Jun going with this guy who was missing a finger to go get a fake but really realistic-looking new one (it's actually pretty amazing). Even though I can't understand a lot of what they're saying. ^_^'' Anyway, just as I was about to go to bed, the power came back on. Figures.
