I should talk about my day yesterday in order, haha. Rather than just starting off talking about The Dark Knight, like I'm tempted to. So here we go~
Yesterday morning I met Jamie at her place. We planned to walk to school so we didn't have to pay for parking, but we changed our minds (I think Jamie only really changed her mind cuz she wanted Starbucks). So we showed up at school a little late but not too bad for soran bushi practice, which dude, is SO FUN. I'm not a great dancer, but I feel like I'm picking it up pretty well. I am really really looking forward to performing at the State Fair! Any of you who live in California, you should come to the State Fair on Saturday, August 23 and watch us perform at 4:30! I hope there's a big crowd. I am going to be so pumped. I already AM pumped. It's hard not to be when soran bushi is involved, haha. Oh, and if any of you don't know what soran bushi is, here's our reference video for the first part:

But ANYway. After that Jamie and I headed back to her place and took quick showers, then we picked up Alan and went to Leatherby's for lunch, which dude, I had no idea that their actual food was so good! Jamie and I split a French dip that was SO good. Then we both got Black and Tan sundaes, which were as amazing as ever. Alan got some kind of malt sundae that looked gross but was probably really good. After that, we went back to Jamies, where she made let us watch the first episode of Sailor Moon in Japanese, while she fangirled over it, I made fun of it, and Alan was silent. After that, she showed me an episode of Full Metal Alchemist, which was interesting (you should let me copy it to my laptop, Jamie!), the first episode of Devil Beside You (oh Taiwanese dramas and their poor production value XD, plus that girl is probably the worst actress of all time, but I was entertained nonetheless), and I showed Jamie and Alan (although I think Alan slept through most of it) the first episode of Maou, making that the third time I watched it. XD I love it that much. I do. I watched episode 2 today...and the amazingness continued. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. It's been a while since there's been a drama this good, I think. Cuz lots of dramas that I love are fun, entertaining, whatever (like HanaKimi, Zettai Kareshi, basically all the ones based on shoujo manga XD) but Maou is like on another level. SO GOOD. Ohno blows me away with his acting, and Toma's extremely hot pretty good too, although he doesn't have the subtlety that Ohno has, I don't think. But he's still good. (I LOVED the reenactment scene in the first episode. It was so intense and brilliant and just awesome in every way.) And now I'm getting off topic. XD So in the midst of all this watching stuff at Jamie's, Yuri came over as well, then we met up with Jeff and Krishka at this Korean place, which was pretty good, but I wouldn't say amazing- maybe I'm not that impressed with Korean food? I dunno. Maybe I'm too partial to Japanese food or something. XD
And after that we headed over to the theater to watch The Dark Knight. It was SO PACKED. It was like a midnight showing, but it was 10:30 at night on the opening day! But there was a crazy huge line to get into the theater, and thank goodness we all bought our tickets online! There must have been 10 or 15 of us altogether? We all more or less managed to sit together too, or at least in the same vicinity. But as for the movie itself...wow. What can I really say about it? The subject of this entry covers it well. XD I really think it's the best superhero movie I've ever seen. Christian Bale just gets better and better, but really, it's all about Heath Ledger in this movie. His portrayal of the Joker was nothing short of brilliant. He was insane and ruthless and bloodthirsty and a genius and dark and twisted and wow. I don't think there's anyone that could've done the role justice the way Heath Ledger did. And I didn't even know Two Face was gonna be in it but he totally was! I really liked how it ended too. Batman owns. I really want to go watch it again.
...Nothing really exciting to report today, so I'll end it here. XD
