Procrastination, yay!

So yesterday before Awana, my brother and I are eating at Subway when I get a call from my dad. My mom apparently had just told him that she wasn't feeling well and wouldn't be going to Awana. Okay, this may not seem like a big deal, until you realize that my mom is the Sparks director. She sets everything up, gives out awards, just kinda generally runs the night, and oh yeah, teaches the lesson. So guess who got to do all that stuff? Yeah. I mean, I did all this stuff last week too, but last week I was expecting it. The lesson was so short, since I had like three minutes to prepare. XD Oh well. Other than that, it was a usual night of Awana, with the usual kids being...themselves. Yeah. I'll leave it at that.

Today I didn't have to work until 6:15, so I was like, cool, that'll give me time to get some stuff done. I dragged myself out of bed around 11, took a shower, ate lunch...all this, totally taking my time, of course. Then I sat down to read The Return of the King, since one of my goals today was to finish Book 5 (the halfway point). I accomplished this, but for some reason I was having trouble staying focused, and I ended up taking a short nap in the middle of this, haha. So I finally finished (what a depressing cliffhanger that left off on), and then did my chores, or at least the most important ones, which was another one of my goals for the day. It's like 4 by this time, and I'm wondering where my day has gone. So I drag out my laptop to do some other hw, but of course, I check my e-mail and go on LJ first, and then I barely get anything done before my brother and his friend come home from Japantown, so I totally didn't finish what I meant to get done at all. I never get much done when I have long periods of free time. ^_^'' Oh well... I've thought it out, and I think I can still manage to get everything done that I need to.

Yeah, it was all over for my homework when my brother tossed me the Buneary plushie he brought me from Japantown. ♥ ♥ ♥ It's like my new favorite Pokemon, haha. So awesome, and so cute! I'd take a picture to show you guys, but meh, too lazy, haha. Anyway, my brother is the best ever. ♥ Then I went to work, which was normal, and now here I am!

I finally started reading the manga of Ouran High School Host Club! I figured I'd just start at the beginning, even though I've seen the anime. It's so great. ♥ Although I think I prefer the anime so far, if for nothing else than how great their VAs are (especially Tamaki's, so hilarious), but the anime ended and it should have continued, so I've gotta do what I've gotta do. Haha.
