This week has been pretty awesome so far, for the most part. Monday was young adults, which was fun, as usual. We ended up all just sitting around and talking instead of playing games, which was actually kinda nice. Tuesday was fun because Ryan, Yuri and I went to Oto's and Japanese bakery that's like right next to it and loaded up on Japanese food/junk food/bread (obviously), and then went back home and played Guitar Hero until Yuri had to go. And then I had youth group, and it's the first time in quite a while that I've had my normal group of high school girls, so it was kinda nice to have my group back. Yesterday was kinda lame though, because I woke up in the morning, threw up, went back to bed hoping to get better, got up later, threw up again, and gave up and admitted I was sick. So I basically moved from my bed to the couch and didn't get up for like seven hours. I was feeling better towards the evening though, so even though I probably shouldn't have, lol, I still went out to see Robin Hood with Yuri, Mike, and Jen from young adults. It was a fun group to go with, and the movie was pretty decent and had some pretty epic moments, although it wasn't quite what I expected. After that I came home and slept for like 12 hours, which is why I'm pretty much completely better today, lol. Nothing cures like sleep~ Today was a pretty normal Thursday except that I went to karaoke with Yuri and Alaina, which was pretty epic in ways I really can't convey in words unless you were there. I hope I can find some decent karaoke buddies in Japan who will sing some Johnny's songs with me~
Also, I could turn this into a rant, but suffice it to say, it's annoying when people invite themselves along to things. Like, um, maybe there was a reason you weren't invited in the first place. And then when you try to get someone to hang out with you and they keep making excuses because they're too nice to tell you to your face that they just don't want to, can you please learn to take a hint? -_-;; I love my friends, but a couple of them need to back off.
