I just finished watching the first episode of Bloody Monday (the first season because I am lame), which I didn't realize when I started watching it that it's an hour and a half long, lol. Good thing I started (relatively) early. Seriously, why did I wait so long to watch this drama?? I never recognized Miura Haruma's attractiveness before, plus it has Sato Takeru (♥), and I saw the back of Narimiya Hiroki's head for like a second, lol. So many ikemen in one drama~ Plus other actors that I recognize, not to mention a Hannya cameo (!! I did not see that coming). And the plot got me hooked pretty much right away. I bet I finish this drama by the end of the week, if time allows.
Um, what else? On Monday a group of us from young adults, including Yuri, Mike, my brother, and a few other people, went to Leatherby's. The original intent was for Mike and I to break our sweets fast with some massive ice creams (since our church did a three-week fast), but it ended up being like, what, eight of us altogether? I got my usual Black & Tan, and it was ~amazing~. And well, we had a lot of fun. Then almost everyone came back to my house and ended up watching CSI and part of the news with my parents, lol. It actually ended up being kind of ridiculously fun, not the least bit because of Mike and my brother being super gay with each other the whole time, and my brother giving Nate a massive wedgie, and a whole bunch of other really funny stuff. Good times. I think my Facebook status from later that night sums things up nicely: "So today was interesting. Nate's a murderer (and also got an atomic wedgie), Amanda fell out of a chair, Ryan and Mike proved several times how...close they are (and scarred Yuri for life in the process), my mom's a gangster, and Mike gets along with my dad a little too well for my liking." Yup.
And yeah, I think that's about it for this week so far. Yesterday, since I didn't work, I did a whole lot of nothing. Today I did work, but I spent the rest of my day doing what, sleeping, going online, playing Pokemon and watching tv? And maybe reading Peter Pan, since I decided to reread it while I wait for the library to get my Sherlock Holmes books in? I lead an exciting life, guys.
But! Tomorrow one of the missionaries I'm going to be working with in Japan who is also raising support right now is going to be in town and I'm going to meet with her for coffee. I'm kind of excited. :D This whole missionary thing seems so unreal sometimes.
