Holy crap, it's been almost a week since I posted. o_0 Sorry, guys. I'm alive, I promise. I particularly blame this on Arashi fandom being slow these days, what with there being no Himitsu or VS Arashi or anything else other than Shukudai-kun going on. Plus, well, my mind has been on other things besides fandom, so. ^_^;;
So like, I shelled out fifty bucks to YesAsia for like the fifty billion time because I ordered Arashi's My Girl along with Yamapi's Loveless single, and then because it was totally necessary, the November Potato, I think it was. (Judging by the scans, it has pinups of each of the members! Although I'm sure the pinups are printed on both sides, so I'll have to choose which ones to show, haha.) So right now I have two preorders sitting there with YesAsia (my Arashi dvd being the other one). Ugh hurry up and get released! I have nothing to show for all this money yet. lol
So like, I'm kind of really excited for NEWS' concert dvd. It's gonna have the concert, obviously, plus lots of backstage stuff and PV's for each of the members, and Koyama's is going to be Love Addiction which is pretty much the most amazing thing EVER and I really cannot wait. :D Plus I mean, it's been waaay too long since we had some good NEWS backstage stuff, since they didn't really do it much on the Pacific dvd, which was LAME.
Speaking of NEWS, maybe it's the fact that I've become more of a Yamapi fangirl again, I don't know, but I've been listening to NEWS kind of a lot recently. color might be their best album to date. There's so much variety in the songs, and so many of them are so good! I'm not sure why, but I really love Kesenai, even though it's actually kind of a sad song. And of course, Stardust and Fly Again, ugh. ♥ Those of you who aren't really NEWS fans, I really cannot recommend this album enough!
So um, other than that, not much going on. I've been reading Artemis Fowl, playing Pokemon, and going on LJ and such when I should be reading this super long, boring, outdated Missionary Handbook thingy that I have to finish before I sign my agreement form thingy... ^_^;; Which I really should get on because the sooner I do that, the sooner I can start working on actually raising money so I can go to Japan. Curse you, laziness~
But really, life is good. The nice fall weather is making me even happier~ ♥
So like, did I miss something? I watched it raw, so I'm sure there are things I didn't catch, but I don't get why Ryoko lied about studying abroad, and why she refused to tell Masamune that she was pregnant, or contact him, or anything, for six years. But really, what reason could she possibly have? I think I caught something about like, not wanting to hold him back or bother him or something ridiculous like that, but really. That's not the kind of secret a person should keep. :/ Also, Masamune's character is a little too much of the typical super lame fail!character who tries really hard so that makes things okay except he still fails all the time. I'm hoping he'll get better as the drama progresses, because right now, yeah. He's a total doormat, and actually a bit annoying. :/ But Koharu makes it all okay. She's really cute, and a great actress for her age. I kind of wish Aiba's acting was better though. Sorry, Aiba-chan. He's not bad, per say, but he could be better... But overall, even though the storyline is pretty farfetched, and even if I have issues with the characters, it's still a sweet drama, and I'll still watch it. It's just not exactly gonna be my new favorite drama or anything. I'm hoping it'll get better as the drama continues.
