Today was a good day! I spent most of the day hanging out with Yuri~ Really, it didn't feel at all like we hadn't seen each other in like eight months. And I know she's a true friend because she brought me some really cute おみあげ, including Mickey Mouse headphones, a fish-cat-thing bath sponge, and the recent issue of Josei Jishin, just because it had a nice shiny Arashi poster in it. She is the best ever. ♥ And we decided that we're going to do something we (obviously) haven't done in a while: watch a current drama together. We chose Orthros no Inu (she and Alaina both think Buzzer Beat is lame!! What is wrong with them???), and we watched the first two episodes tonight. SO. GOOD. YOU GUYS. Everything about it is awesome. Ryo-chan is totally adorable and could not be more perfect for his role. Tackey is pretty but creepy and just oozes EVIL. And the girl whose name I can never remember but who I really like is also pretty awesome! The music is great, and really, it's just a really well-made drama. I can't wait to see where the plot is going, because really, right now, I have absolutely no idea! Like, I can't even make a prediction at all.
And since I keep talking about writing a fic but I still haven't done it, you know what? I'm just gonna give it a shot, and then maybe later I'll revise this and post the revised version for you guys. But I've kind of wanted to write something lately, since now that I'm not in school I'm not forced to write anymore, haha. And I figured that, if I'm gonna write something, if I write Arashi fanfiction, then you all, my lovely flist, are that much more likely to read it, yes? XD Even though I used to swear I'd never write fan fiction about real people... ^_^;; So Sarah
sapah_fu challenged me to write Sakumiya (surprise, surprise), so I'm gonna give it a shot!
"YES! Whooo! I am unbeatable!"
Nino pulled his hat further down over his eyes, but he could still hear Sho throw the PlayStation remote to the ground and start dancing around the dressing room.
"I won! No one can beat me! I'm the greatest soccer player in the world!"
Good lord, was Sho really 27? How long was he planning to carry on like this? And then, just when it seemed like things couldn't get much worse, he heard Aiba's voice.
"Sho-chan, what are you doing? What are you dancing around for?"
"I've been playing this soccer game for like a month, and I finally beat it!" he said breathlessly. "The last team was really hard, but I wouldn't give up!"
"I know exactly how that feels! It's like the time I-"
Nino groaned and stood up from the chair he'd been slouching in in the far corner of the room, then over to the center of the room where the TV and game console were.
"You guys are so noisy, seriously. Can't a guy relax in peace and quiet? Sho-chan, why aren't you reading a newspaper or something?"
Sho pouted. "I just wanted to beat the game... Besides, there's no News Zero this week, so I have a little extra free time."
"But still...seriously. Besides, beating that game isn't really a big deal."
"But it is for me..."
"What, have you played this game, Nino-chan?" Aiba asked.
"I beat it months ago," Nino replied, laying on the couch and stretching himself out. "It was a decent game, but not the best. Besides," he added, pulling his hat back down over his eyes, "if you really want to measure your skill, Sho-san, you should play against a real person, not the computer."
Sho sat down on the floor next to the couch and put his hand on Nino's arm. "Well then, why don't we play? You may be good at video games, but I can really play soccer, so I think I can win!"
Nino looked at Sho from under the brim of his hat. "You think you can beat me?"
Sho met his gaze. "I think I have a chance."
"Fine then. But not right now. Tomorrow, we'll play at my house, since I have a big TV. I won't go easy on you."
"I wouldn't expect any less." Sho grinned. Nino tried to fight a smile as he pulled his hat down completely over his face.
"Alright then. So in return, for now you let me sleep."
"Deal."
Nino could swear he heard Aiba smother a laugh.
So in the end this is just part one, I guess, haha. Part two to come later?
