もうすぐ終わり~

I can't believe I'm almost done with college (or at least, being an undergrad). Crazy! I mean, I have been in college for seven years, so it's definitely time to move on, but man, this last semester flew by. I feel like it should be midterm, not finals. o_0 I have two finals on Monday and two on Tuesday, and graduation on Friday and then that's it. Most people are excited around this time, and I mean, I am excited, but I'm also sad. I've loved college, especially Sac State. Honestly, the three years I've spent at Sac State have been the best of my life, for a number of reasons, not the least of which are the fantastic friends I made. But even though I'm a bit sad, I'm also excited about the future!

Oh, and that medical exam? I was totally nervous for some reason, even though I knew I didn't really need to be, until the doctor came in. When your doctor is named Dr. Ruggles (yes, seriously), you know everything is going to be okay. Even though at first I was like CRAP MALE DOCTOR WHY, it ended up being totally not awkward because he was so nice and easy to talk to, even about awkward stuff. So the appointment went well. :D I have to go back for a couple more things next week, but it's all good~ But man, the x-ray technician who, like everyone else I met with, asked where I was going, and I said Japan... Turns out her husband is from Hiroshima, and she started telling me all about Japan and things to bring and what it's like... 95% of which I already knew. She was really nice, but really, I swear I had just told her I had studied Japanese for two years when she told me how to apologize in Japanese (evidently she recommends a very bad American accent- ごめんなさい became ごめなさい). And yes, I know they have an accent in Osaka... -_-;; And just all kinds of stuff, she kind of wouldn't stop talking... Really nice lady, but. I know about Japan already. Really I do. ^_^;;

Moving on to fandom, Tackey and Ryo-chan in a summer drama?? There's a combo I would not have predicted, haha. But the plot sounds interesting~

Also, stuff like this just makes me sad. I haven't heard a lot about what exactly is going on with Stormy Team right now, though I did get the e-mail that they're cleaning out inactive members at Aibakaland (they probably got rid of me cuz I had very few posts ^_^;;) and shut down stormy_team for the time being and I think they said pretty much everyone will have to rejoin, and now this. I can't believe such an awesome sub group as Stormy has been driven to such drastic measures because of people who really just refuse to follow the rules. How hard is it not to upload to streaming sites when the subber tells you not to? They just don't want to get sued, and I don't blame them. Also, I can't believe that people actually cut out their credits and watermark and even replace it with their own. o_0 That's just plain ridiculous. There are so many awesome people in fandom, but then there are also these totally lame people that ruin things for everyone else. It really pisses me off.

On a happier note, I saw Star Trek today, and oh my GOSH, it was fantastic. *_* Like, even if you don't like sci fi, even if you've never heard the name of Captain Kirk or Spock before, I highly recommend this movie. It was great. Great characters, great action, never a dull moment. Loved it from beginning to end. I'm probably gonna go see it again, actually.

I should go to sleep now, seeing as I've been sleepy all day, but eh. I can sleep in tomorrow. :D
