Now that's a marathon.
So my brother and I may or may not have spent somewhere between six and seven hours finishing Avatar today. >.> Yay for not having to work~
OKAY, so I was really scared for Zuko there for a minute. I was gonna be SERIOUSLY UPSET if he died, cuz he's my favorite. ♥ I will not fall for an animated character. THOSE DAYS ARE BEHIND ME. I should've realized he wouldn't die cuz, I mean, he had to become Fire Lord. So yay. :D And yay for Aang finding a way to defeat the Fire Lord without having to kill him. Yeah, so it was convenient, but yay for happy endings! :D Watching Azula fall apart was pretty freaky though. But it was super well done, and I was really proud of Katara. And Sokka learned how to not be useless! Although he did lose his super spiffy sword. And AANG AND KATARA. Not shocking, but hey, I'm a fangirl, what can I say. ♥ I thought the first time he kissed her was pretty awesome too. He was all unchracteristically kakkoii about it. I was impressed. Anyway, I'm pretty sure Avatar is the best animated show America has put out in a long, long time. Even the animation blew me away. And I loved all of the characters. They had a lot more depth than I ever would have expected- even the bad guys. Okay, I think I've flailed enough for now.
And Ryan told me today that Miko told him that there's gonna be a movie. So I went on Wikipedia. Jesse McCartney as Zuko? What the crap??? And the guy who played Jasper in Twilight as Sokka. Um. The other two actors mentioned in the article, including the one who's supposedly playing Aang, don't have Wikipedia pages, so I don't know anything about them, but apparently they're all white, which the article said fans were upset about, and NO KIDDING. Come on, guys. -_-'' Well, let's hope the movies turn out at least somewhat decent (since I guess it's gonna be a trilogy, one for each season?).
...In other news, Yamapi on Waratte Iitomo was disappointingly boring. I forgot how reserved Yamapi always is on TV. *sigh* And I keep checking my flist in the hopes that the VS Arashi special is uploaded. So far all I've seen is the regular episode, which was a preview, and a LQ streaming version of the special itself, which I'd rather wait for a decent quality dl. I CAN'T WAIT. :D
