i wrote a prayer for easter and my family thought it was good, so i decided to put it on here and see if yall think its any good:
Dear heavenly father,
I would like to ask your blessing on the food
To nourish our bodies
May this weekend honor you and only you
For this weekend you shed your blood for us
Let us devoid of all thoughts outside of you
Embrace the real meaning of Easter
Without your sacrifice we would be doomed to hell
Let us never forget of the nails that pierced your hands and feet
The thorns that streamed blood on your beautiful face
And the thrust of the spear in your side
All of it for us
For us you humbled yourself
For you we should do the same
Let everyday be like Easter
Every day lets be excited that you are indeed alive
