2006 in a nutshell. Thank you for the memories. Thank you for the love.
Forgive me if I forget things... it's been a long year. Amazing, but long.
Basically, this is my first full calendar year as a full-time NOCCA student. Since this year's begun, musical theatre has officially taken over my life. As if it hadn't before, but still. This year was really different. It was AMAZING, but different. I loved it and hated it. So many different things happened. But in the end I love you all and I thank each and every single one of you for such a great year. You all are my heart and soul. WARNING: this will be SO LONG.
January.
-On January 8th, I broke up with Allison for the second time. A decision that would REALLY change this year a lot for me, in my opinion. Could be the most pivotal decision of the year, tied with deciding to go to NOCCA.
-NOCCA orientation at T.H. Harris. HAHAHA. Saw everyone again. Magazine shopping day, etc.
-Watching Pippin and the fundraiser I did with Aubrey at her house with that whole gang.
-I start freaking out about Allison. At that point, I wanted to be back in a relationship with her and didn't want to all at the same time. Feelings go crazy. She cries. I cry. We both just flip.
-I become enamored with NOCCA/ T.H. RIVERFRONT. And all the people there. Especially a certain Erica Ann Langhoff, who would become a best friend. Also at T.H. Riverfront... Kallie, Colin, Kelly, Jessica, Brandi, Courtney, JAnie, Bayley, Michael, Jessica, and a ton of other people I'm forgetting right now.
-KEVIN MARSHALL GOES ON JEOPARDY. The crazy Jeoparties ensue. So much fun.
-"The Baseball Game." from You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Erica = Lucy, Josh = Charlie. LOVE.
-Rummel T Homegoing with Liz! Almost being locked out the dance 'cause we got there at like 9:01.
-My crush on Margaret Wild grows.
-Feelings for Allison get even MORE confusing.
-I go back to Jesuit. Which I was excited about at the time? WHAT?!
-I freak out because the old Phils office was replaced by ROTC and my English room was the old costume room. My pre-K Jesuit world was turned upside down.
-Blake tells us that we're going to do Jungle Book, but it'll be all performances in the day. He pulls me aside and said, "A lot could be in it for me." Which secretly meant at the time that I'd be Baloo, but I didn't do it. Unfortunately. NOCCA also plans to move to Rivertown.
-Still trying to hang out with Brother Martin Baton Rouge people and Allison and them.
-The day Colin's car broke down on the way to NOCCA. HAHAHA.
-I start to drift from some old friends.
February.
-THE FIRST EVER JOSHANDERICA AIMLESS DRIVING NIGHT! So many fun times. So many. Unforgettable. The to-do list will explain all. I knew from that night on that she'd be one of my closest friends.
-Liz and I have our first and only fight ever. I love you.
-Somewhere in here NOCCA moves to the old theatre at Rivertown. The very first day, we all ate king cake and played this game where you say really random stuff about yourself. It was so much fun. I won't forget it.
-Drunk calls from Amber, Liz, Jeanne, etc.
-Jesuit Homecoming with Margaret Wild! Ate with Allison and Liz and Daniel and the crew at Miyako beforehand. I had a LOT of fun that night. Crush for Margaret grew. Danced with Sarah McEwen and Charlotte Brown. So much love.
-Erica: "Josh, are you an ass man or a boob man?" THE WORLD WILL NEVER KNOW. "I'm a personality man!"
-Mrs. Moreau was my Valentine. HAHAHA.
-My mom's car got robbed! Money and our digital camera were on the list of things that got taken.
-"Fallicious" is born. Thank you, Miss Langhoff.
-Going to parades. Excalibur with Allison, Liz, Hayli, along with Daniel, Darren, etc. The old "people." First time I know about all of them drinking. Crazy.
-Mardi Gras! Hanging out with Erica, Gabby, Hazel, and my old "people." Lundi Gras when Gabby drank 2 bottles of champagne by herself, proceeded to throw up and fall down as I carried her through the streets of New Orleans, et cetera. I'll never forget it. She sang probably the worst rendition of "I'll Cover You" EVER. haha. Erica and I are the steward and stewardesses of revelry. Going to Mia's grandma's house.
-When the Joshison crew starts drinking, I freak out.
-Some people say I've changed.
March.
-Doing the NOCCA/ NOMA thing with Miss Kallie Miller, who became one of my ultimate MT role models. She still is to this day.
-I grow super close to Erica, Laura, and Liz. Best friends forever.
-Went to Liz's house to watch the bootlegged Wicked with Liz, Adrienne, CANDACE RODRIGUEZ, and Darren. SO MUCH FUN. One of those "Wow. I really love my life." nights.
-Where is Ashley in my life?!
-Allison and I begin to grow apart... not so drastically now, but it starts.
-I get on Accutane. It gave me depression. ERGO, got off that one pretty quickly.
-I began to miss the summer of 2005.
-Erica and I get EVEN closer.
-Went to the MCA SOPHOMORE DANCE WITH MARGARET! So much fun. I love Mount Carmel Academy and the girls who go there so much. It's my school. Hayli, Sarah, Candace (who FREAKED OUT with me when they played "Bohemian Rhapsody," our Baton Rouge anthem), Misha, Dot, Murph, Ashley, Dani, so many people I love. I had so much fun. Kinda lost my crush for Margaretto.
-Went to see The Last Five Years at JPAS with Liz, Allison, ASHLEY (who I had not seen in forever), Daniel, Darren, et cetera. It was fun, but weird. Our super tight group of friends was starting to go away and we didn't even know it. Reginelli's after. Laura went, too. (Driving home from NOCCA with her = bonding.)
-Brett came in town randomly! Fun at Allison's house watching him watch ALaddin. haha. I missed him a lot.
-Going to see She's the Man with Liz. One of my favorite JoshandLiz outings. There are so many favorites, though.
-I think I'm growing up too fast.
-Frosh Queen. Loads of fun. 08's my favorite MCA class, but I still love 09 and had tons of fun. I went with Jill Tatarski! Ate at Bravo with Jill, KAYLA, and Zack Poche'... fun. I love Jillian Poche'. All that stupid Jilliansdatebringingvodkatothedance was stupid and I love her. So much.
-THE CRAWFISH BOIL ON THE LAKEFRONT WITH ERICA, GABBY, HAZEL, COLIN, AND J. TAL! So. Much. Fun. Blowing bubbles, eating crawfish, driving Gabby's car, listening to music, flying kites, playing football. I love them so much. Not a great day for Hazel. She and Patrick broke up. I love you!
-Jesuit Bazaar. Great and notsogreat. Hayli and I drift. I didn't think she liked me at ALL. Liz was supposed to come with me but she had rehearsal for Birdie at BM. Hung with Laura. Realized that I was closer to her than I was to a lot of other people.
-Erica promises me and a few others the Diva Book. Oh well. haha.
-Liz and I begin to get closer than EVER. Best friend.
April.
-MT is my dream. I become determined to achieve success with it. Without any doubt. Still like that today.
-Went to Baton Rouge with Kallie to perform at the state museum for NOCCA day! Fun with her. Jungle Book opened that day, too!
-I officially hate Jesuit.
-I become a little less conservative.
-12 Angry Men! I was so proud of you guys.
-Summer Lyric auditions.
-Saw Jungle Book! I wish I could've done it. Went with Ashley, Allison, and Ashley's friend Renee.
-Hung with Erica at the Rigamer's (?!) and then around town for a while. "It's kinda chunky."
-Katie Peck's random scavenger hunt across Metairie. TEAM ROCK (me, Allison, Matt Armato, and Rob) should've won. It also should've been called Team Awkward, but you know. haha. For a split second, I thought Allison and I were old Joshison again.
-I get into acting.
-9 Churches Walk on Good Friday/ LIZ'S 16TH BIRTHDAY! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Amazing day with her.
-I miss this time when it was 2005. Weird nostalgic feelings ensue.
-Allison and I talk about stuff.
-PUCCINO'S NIGHT WITH ASHLEY AND LIZ. So much fun. I love them both. I needed to hang with people who would make me smile.
-LAURA'S 17TH BIRTHDAY! Went to Oki Nago with her school friends and then back to her house. Jenn Marks asked me to go to prom with herrrr! I love you all.
-Saw Birdie at Brother Martin, even after I crashed their dress rehearsal! Made me miss all of those people. Went to Allison's party. Fun, but weird. DEFINITELY an Allison Tebbe party. Allison and I talked in her room for a long time about everything. She and Matt started going out that night. I was okay with it at the time.
-I got into Birdie at Tulane!
May.
-Went to MCA Junior Prom with Jenn and Laura and her friends! SO MUCH FUN!
-Went to see Ashley's Birdie (this was a VERY Birdie month) in Houmadoux with Liz, Allison, Darren, and Matt. Not the greatest day. But I was so proud of Ashley. I love you.
-NOCCA LUAU, thanks to me and Kallie! So much fun. SO much fun. Blake in dreads = the coolest thing ever.
-Going to see Poseidon with Erica. CRAZY NIGHT. I love you. Don't run into things.
-Hayli's Sweet Sixteen! So much fun at her house with her, Sarah, Margaret, supposedtobeLiz, etc. I misssssed her.
-Had dress rehearsal at the EJ theatre for our endofNOCCAperformance thingie. First time I'd been back to the theatre I'd basically grown up in since the storm. Crazy.
-Our endofNOCCA performance of "Heart & Music" and "I Feel So Much Spring" at EJ. Won't forget it. It STILL comes on channel 8.
-JAUNE'S DANCE RECITAL FOR MDT! Thanks to Liz and Erica for coming! Went with the family and Liz to get ice cream afterwards. I love the MDT people. And Jaune.
-Brother Martin Independent Film Festival. Hanging with Laura's school friends. I'M THE TABLE MASCOT!
-Spending time with Ashley. Whining with her about the notsosatisfying Will & Grace Finale.
-Random phone calls with Erica. Liz. Saw Bruce.
-Kallie and I were pretty close for a while in this timeframe. Hazel, too, but she'd still remain pretty close to me throughout June.
-I feel like I could open up to anyone, which is terrifying and comforting at the same time.
-CRAZINESS ENSUES. May is always an insane month.
June.
-I should've been at NOCCA for summer session the first week but I wasn't because of JESUIT HIGH SCHOOL, which didn't get out of school until JUNE 8TH. I went to summer session on a random day when I didn't have exams and I had a blast.
-A year after I got back from my trip to Europe. Angst ensues when thinking about those memories, seeing as Allison, Daniel, Darren, etc, and I are almost acquaintances at that point.
-WENT TO NEW YORK CITY! Saw Spelling Bee. Got to go into a Queer Eye taping. Fun times with the family. Very insightful timeforJoshtothink moments, too.
-June 7th was a year after Allison and I first started dating. I was pensive, to say the least.
-Laura's Tony Party! Loads of fun. Courtney and I start becoming really really good friends.
-I GET TO SUMMER SESSION FINALLY! It was all Kander & Ebb, mostly Steel Pier, a show I've come to ABSOLUTELY ADORE. I sang "Mister Cellophane." HAHA. Nice try, Josh.
-I was in Group B (the younger group) for summer session, and although I wasn't excited about it at first, I came to love my group a lot.
-I get SO much closer to Ashley and I meet Sarah!
-THE FANTASTIC FOUR IS BORN! Me, Courtney, Ashley, and Brett.
-My crush for Courtney grows. I finally end up telling her. She didn't believe me. I'm overanalytical.
-Brett and I become best friends. He no longer hates me. haha.
-Seeing all my kids in Millie, aka Laura, Courtney, Stephen, Bryce, Kyle, etc. GREAT! Saw it twice. First time = Erica, Brett, Kayla, Maggie, Scarlett, Gil, etc. Went to IHOP afterwards. Crrrrazy times.
-Erica's an amazing friend.
-Ushering Showboat at Summer Lyric with Ashley, Hazel, and Bopp. Fun! Ate at Fresco afterwards with Ashley, Brett, Hazel, Kallie, and Scarlett. SO MUCH FREAKING FUN.
-SUMMER SESSION IS AMAZING. I loved it so much. All of my MT friends... you all are my heart.
-Summer Session ends, though. It was so rough. I realized just how much I'd miss the class of 06. Liz came to the show! I love you!
July.
-MY BIRTHDAY!
-Cats starts! I got Munkustrap, which is as of now my favorite part to play on stage.
-Birdie opens! Crazy fun times in the dressing room. SUPERHERO THEME! Jenn's funfetti cakes. Emofest 06. PUT ON A HAPPY FACE. Love.
-I freak out about Erica leaving in a month.
-Birdie closes, and I began to miss it.
-After Birdie's last show, Jer and I went to Hazel's house for her BIRTHDAY PARTY with Erica, Patrick, and her random Franklin/Idyllwild friends. Then Jer and I went to the Birdie cast party. Broadway singalongs make me so happy. It was just grand.
-Guys & Dolls at Brother Martin! Liz baked me a cake. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.
-Cats looked like it was going to be a mess.
-Going to Prairieville with Courtney and Sarah to see Millie! Griffin Grill! Belting Little Women! Singing in the shower! Just fun.
-Saturday dance rehearsals for cats without air condition. Oh, lord.
-Hanging with Liz and her family.
-Hanging out with Erica. Her birthday present to me! Going to Hazel's house that day. Then Jer's. Then home.
-Ashley lives at my house. So much love.
-Cats opens! It goes so well!
-July 27th, I ask Courtney out at IHOP. Classy, Mister Smith.
-Barnes & Noble's/ TANGO NIGHT with Liz!
-Cats closes. It went so well. Could be my last JPAS summer show ever. I love the Andersens and Dody for being with me through it all.
-Kayla and I are TIGHT. So are Sarah and I. We had gotten closer.
August.
-Chelsea's birthday. Sarah and Ethan start dating!
-LANGHOFFPALOOZA!
-All the Project Runway nights with Erica, Megan, Brian Langhoff, Kallie, Jer, Hazel, Gabby, et cetera. I had to say bye to them... I love them all a lot.
-The day at the zoo with Erica, Meggo, Jer, and Brian L.
-Erica and I have our last JoshandErica night before she leaves. We both cried. I love her so much.
-NOCCA starts. I love it. Blake made me cry in my one-on-one counseling session with him. I carpool with Laura, Kayla, and Burt before he quits NOCCA.

-Seeing Accepted with Courtney. Things with her start to get crazy.
-Dinner with Liz at Bravo and then going to her house. I love that girl. We talked about everything.

-A New Orleans Holiday Story opens!
-Laura, Kayla, and I are SO CLOSE. VIVA LAJOLA!
-School becomes so stressful. AP classes are NOT FUN.
-Cendra Cae and I become SO CLOSE! Sam and I talk.
-Hanging out with NOCCA people a LOT. Flora's, Sound Cafe, McDonald's, etc.
-Basically, I get SUPER closer to all the NOCCA people, especially seniors, Griff, Carolyn, Jana, etc.
-Blake made me cry EVERY CIRCLE of the show. He's amazing. I love that man. He tells me to go away this summer. (WHERE SHOULD I GO?! SUGGESTIONS?!)
-Allison tells me about certain rumors going around. Awkward. I told her all my feelings about her. Bah.
-Old Josh kind of resurfaces. Genuine happiness.
-Exams were AWFUL. Awful. I got all A's though! Except for Math... grrrr.
-Last day of NOCCA before the holidays. Loads of fun. Writing nice stuff about everyone in the room. MT games. LAJOLA FOREVER.
-Liz and Shelby have broken up by now and she's upset. I love you so much.
-Driving across the lake with my family, the Marshalls, and Rachel DeJonge to go to Jana's Christmas party. SO MUCH FUN! Singing Christmas carols and making gingerbread houses is le fun.
-Erica's not in town yet. Grrrrr.
-You and me? Wow. I love it, though. It's just crazy to think about.

March.
-Doing the NOCCA/ NOMA thing with Miss Kallie Miller, who became one of my ultimate MT role models. She still is to this day.
-I grow super close to Erica, Laura, and Liz. Best friends forever.
-Went to Liz's house to watch the bootlegged Wicked with Liz, Adrienne, CANDACE RODRIGUEZ, and Darren. SO MUCH FUN. One of those "Wow. I really love my life." nights.
-Where is Ashley in my life?!
-Allison and I begin to grow apart... not so drastically now, but it starts.
-I get on Accutane. It gave me depression. ERGO, got off that one pretty quickly.
-I began to miss the summer of 2005.
-Erica and I get EVEN closer.
-Went to the MCA SOPHOMORE DANCE WITH MARGARET! So much fun. I love Mount Carmel Academy and the girls who go there so much. It's my school. Hayli, Sarah, Candace (who FREAKED OUT with me when they played "Bohemian Rhapsody," our Baton Rouge anthem), Misha, Dot, Murph, Ashley, Dani, so many people I love. I had so much fun. Kinda lost my crush for Margaretto.
-Went to see The Last Five Years at JPAS with Liz, Allison, ASHLEY (who I had not seen in forever), Daniel, Darren, et cetera. It was fun, but weird. Our super tight group of friends was starting to go away and we didn't even know it. Reginelli's after. Laura went, too. (Driving home from NOCCA with her = bonding.)
-Brett came in town randomly! Fun at Allison's house watching him watch ALaddin. haha. I missed him a lot.
-Going to see She's the Man with Liz. One of my favorite JoshandLiz outings. There are so many favorites, though.
-I think I'm growing up too fast.
-Frosh Queen. Loads of fun. 08's my favorite MCA class, but I still love 09 and had tons of fun. I went with Jill Tatarski! Ate at Bravo with Jill, KAYLA, and Zack Poche'... fun. I love Jillian Poche'. All that stupid Jilliansdatebringingvodkatothedance was stupid and I love her. So much.
-THE CRAWFISH BOIL ON THE LAKEFRONT WITH ERICA, GABBY, HAZEL, COLIN, AND J. TAL! So. Much. Fun. Blowing bubbles, eating crawfish, driving Gabby's car, listening to music, flying kites, playing football. I love them so much. Not a great day for Hazel. She and Patrick broke up. I love you!
-Jesuit Bazaar. Great and notsogreat. Hayli and I drift. I didn't think she liked me at ALL. Liz was supposed to come with me but she had rehearsal for Birdie at BM. Hung with Laura. Realized that I was closer to her than I was to a lot of other people.
-Erica promises me and a few others the Diva Book. Oh well. haha.
-Liz and I begin to get closer than EVER. Best friend.
April.
-MT is my dream. I become determined to achieve success with it. Without any doubt. Still like that today.
-Went to Baton Rouge with Kallie to perform at the state museum for NOCCA day! Fun with her. Jungle Book opened that day, too!
-I officially hate Jesuit.
-I become a little less conservative.
-12 Angry Men! I was so proud of you guys.
-Summer Lyric auditions.
-Saw Jungle Book! I wish I could've done it. Went with Ashley, Allison, and Ashley's friend Renee.
-Hung with Erica at the Rigamer's (?!) and then around town for a while. "It's kinda chunky."
-Katie Peck's random scavenger hunt across Metairie. TEAM ROCK (me, Allison, Matt Armato, and Rob) should've won. It also should've been called Team Awkward, but you know. haha. For a split second, I thought Allison and I were old Joshison again.
-I get into acting.
-9 Churches Walk on Good Friday/ LIZ'S 16TH BIRTHDAY! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Amazing day with her.
-I miss this time when it was 2005. Weird nostalgic feelings ensue.
-Allison and I talk about stuff.
-PUCCINO'S NIGHT WITH ASHLEY AND LIZ. So much fun. I love them both. I needed to hang with people who would make me smile.
-LAURA'S 17TH BIRTHDAY! Went to Oki Nago with her school friends and then back to her house. Jenn Marks asked me to go to prom with herrrr! I love you all.
-Saw Birdie at Brother Martin, even after I crashed their dress rehearsal! Made me miss all of those people. Went to Allison's party. Fun, but weird. DEFINITELY an Allison Tebbe party. Allison and I talked in her room for a long time about everything. She and Matt started going out that night. I was okay with it at the time.
-I got into Birdie at Tulane!
May.
-Went to MCA Junior Prom with Jenn and Laura and her friends! SO MUCH FUN!
-Went to see Ashley's Birdie (this was a VERY Birdie month) in Houmadoux with Liz, Allison, Darren, and Matt. Not the greatest day. But I was so proud of Ashley. I love you.
-NOCCA LUAU, thanks to me and Kallie! So much fun. SO much fun. Blake in dreads = the coolest thing ever.
-Going to see Poseidon with Erica. CRAZY NIGHT. I love you. Don't run into things.
-Hayli's Sweet Sixteen! So much fun at her house with her, Sarah, Margaret, supposedtobeLiz, etc. I misssssed her.
-Had dress rehearsal at the EJ theatre for our endofNOCCAperformance thingie. First time I'd been back to the theatre I'd basically grown up in since the storm. Crazy.
-Our endofNOCCA performance of "Heart & Music" and "I Feel So Much Spring" at EJ. Won't forget it. It STILL comes on channel 8.
-JAUNE'S DANCE RECITAL FOR MDT! Thanks to Liz and Erica for coming! Went with the family and Liz to get ice cream afterwards. I love the MDT people. And Jaune.
-Brother Martin Independent Film Festival. Hanging with Laura's school friends. I'M THE TABLE MASCOT!
-Spending time with Ashley. Whining with her about the notsosatisfying Will & Grace Finale.
-Random phone calls with Erica. Liz. Saw Bruce.
-Kallie and I were pretty close for a while in this timeframe. Hazel, too, but she'd still remain pretty close to me throughout June.
-I feel like I could open up to anyone, which is terrifying and comforting at the same time.
-CRAZINESS ENSUES. May is always an insane month.
June.
-I should've been at NOCCA for summer session the first week but I wasn't because of JESUIT HIGH SCHOOL, which didn't get out of school until JUNE 8TH. I went to summer session on a random day when I didn't have exams and I had a blast.
-A year after I got back from my trip to Europe. Angst ensues when thinking about those memories, seeing as Allison, Daniel, Darren, etc, and I are almost acquaintances at that point.
-WENT TO NEW YORK CITY! Saw Spelling Bee. Got to go into a Queer Eye taping. Fun times with the family. Very insightful timeforJoshtothink moments, too.
-June 7th was a year after Allison and I first started dating. I was pensive, to say the least.
-Laura's Tony Party! Loads of fun. Courtney and I start becoming really really good friends.
-I GET TO SUMMER SESSION FINALLY! It was all Kander & Ebb, mostly Steel Pier, a show I've come to ABSOLUTELY ADORE. I sang "Mister Cellophane." HAHA. Nice try, Josh.
-I was in Group B (the younger group) for summer session, and although I wasn't excited about it at first, I came to love my group a lot.
-I get SO much closer to Ashley and I meet Sarah!
-THE FANTASTIC FOUR IS BORN! Me, Courtney, Ashley, and Brett.
-My crush for Courtney grows. I finally end up telling her. She didn't believe me. I'm overanalytical.
-Brett and I become best friends. He no longer hates me. haha.
-Seeing all my kids in Millie, aka Laura, Courtney, Stephen, Bryce, Kyle, etc. GREAT! Saw it twice. First time = Erica, Brett, Kayla, Maggie, Scarlett, Gil, etc. Went to IHOP afterwards. Crrrrazy times.
-Erica's an amazing friend.
-Ushering Showboat at Summer Lyric with Ashley, Hazel, and Bopp. Fun! Ate at Fresco afterwards with Ashley, Brett, Hazel, Kallie, and Scarlett. SO MUCH FREAKING FUN.
-SUMMER SESSION IS AMAZING. I loved it so much. All of my MT friends... you all are my heart.
-Summer Session ends, though. It was so rough. I realized just how much I'd miss the class of 06. Liz came to the show! I love you!
July.
-MY BIRTHDAY!
-Cats starts! I got Munkustrap, which is as of now my favorite part to play on stage.
-Birdie opens! Crazy fun times in the dressing room. SUPERHERO THEME! Jenn's funfetti cakes. Emofest 06. PUT ON A HAPPY FACE. Love.
-I freak out about Erica leaving in a month.
-Birdie closes, and I began to miss it.
-After Birdie's last show, Jer and I went to Hazel's house for her BIRTHDAY PARTY with Erica, Patrick, and her random Franklin/Idyllwild friends. Then Jer and I went to the Birdie cast party. Broadway singalongs make me so happy. It was just grand.
-Guys & Dolls at Brother Martin! Liz baked me a cake. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.
-Cats looked like it was going to be a mess.
-Going to Prairieville with Courtney and Sarah to see Millie! Griffin Grill! Belting Little Women! Singing in the shower! Just fun.
-Saturday dance rehearsals for cats without air condition. Oh, lord.
-Hanging with Liz and her family.
-Hanging out with Erica. Her birthday present to me! Going to Hazel's house that day. Then Jer's. Then home.
-Ashley lives at my house. So much love.
-Cats opens! It goes so well!
-July 27th, I ask Courtney out at IHOP. Classy, Mister Smith.
-Barnes & Noble's/ TANGO NIGHT with Liz!
-Cats closes. It went so well. Could be my last JPAS summer show ever. I love the Andersens and Dody for being with me through it all.
-Kayla and I are TIGHT. So are Sarah and I. We had gotten closer.
August.
-Chelsea's birthday. Sarah and Ethan start dating!
-LANGHOFFPALOOZA!
-All the Project Runway nights with Erica, Megan, Brian Langhoff, Kallie, Jer, Hazel, Gabby, et cetera. I had to say bye to them... I love them all a lot.
-The day at the zoo with Erica, Meggo, Jer, and Brian L.
-Erica and I have our last JoshandErica night before she leaves. We both cried. I love her so much.
-NOCCA starts. I love it. Blake made me cry in my one-on-one counseling session with him. I carpool with Laura, Kayla, and Burt before he quits NOCCA.
-Weirrrrrrrd month.
September.
-Seeing Accepted with Courtney. Things with her start to get crazy.
-Dinner with Liz at Bravo and then going to her house. I love that girl. We talked about everything.
-Feelings for Allison come back? Weird? Not feelings really, but I begin to miss her like whoa.
-In-town family vacation over Labor Day Weekend.
-Allison's 15th birthday party! Fun times. Saw a lot of people I missed dearly.
-S-jax's empty house party!
-Dinner with Ashley, Sarah, and Courtney at Red Lobster before Awkward Reunion Night at Allison's.
-Seeing Step Up with Courtney for our 1-month!
-I FIND OUT I'M GOING TO ANAHEIM!
-The Saints come back to the Superdome! AMAZING day. Gave Blake and Greg tickets.
-MCA Ring Dance with Emily Constance! Loads of fun with Laura, who I just keep on becoming closer and closer to. Polka-ing around the dance floor = le cool. I love Laura's school friends.
-Anaheim rehearsals start!
-Dody's birthday party in City Park/ NOMA! Funnnn! Then Anaheim rehearsal, the day the window pictures were born. AND THEN Houmadoux Homecoming with Colie and Ashley! Corshage.
-Schoolhouse Rock Live! for Sarah's birthday! Fun at times, superangsty at others.
-Stangela fair with Liz. RUNWAY.
-TOTAL ART 9.5! I got pulled up on stage. Super fun night because I saw so many people that I missed SO BADLY. LKASDFJKLASD. Just love.
October.
-I miss Erica.
-Courtney and I break up. I love you.
-ANAHEIM REHEARSALS LIKE NO OTHER. That one from 12:30 to 7 when Blake got us pizza.
-TCBY nights with Liz and Amber.
-Brett and I basically don't talk at all.
-OKTOBERFEST WITH LIZ AND HER FAMILY! "In Heaven there is no beer! That's why we drink it heeeeeere!"
-BEN FRANKLIN HOMECOMING WITH SAM! Loads of fun. SO much fun. Dinner at Sarah's before. Did Blake's "Freak Out" combo at one point. People circled around us. LE COOL.
-THE ANAHEIM TRIP! Perfect. Just perfect. Went with Blake, Jefferson, Laura, Ashley, Courtney, Griff, Brian, Chris, Jana, Taylor, Natalie, Sam, Michael, and the moms. JUST PERFECT.

-ERICA RANDOMLY CAME IN TOWN FOR A WEEKEND! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
-Bravo take-out night at Ashley's old Kenner apartment with NOCCA children.
-MCA FallFest with Kayla and Sarah. Not as fun as previous years, but still fun. NO ONE was there.
-Jesuit Homecoming with Liz! Yay!

-The Weir! I was so proud of Liz. She was WONDERFUL.
-Getting closer to Jesuit friends, aka John, Sean, Martin, BJ, etc.
-Rehearsals for A New Orleans Holiday Story had already begun, but they were kicking into high gear by this time.
-After the 2nd time I saw The Weir, I went with Laura, Kayla, and HAYLI to Bennigan's! SO much fun.

December.
-A New Orleans Holiday Story opens!
-Laura, Kayla, and I are SO CLOSE. VIVA LAJOLA!
-School becomes so stressful. AP classes are NOT FUN.
-Cendra Cae and I become SO CLOSE! Sam and I talk.
-Hanging out with NOCCA people a LOT. Flora's, Sound Cafe, McDonald's, etc.
-Basically, I get SUPER closer to all the NOCCA people, especially seniors, Griff, Carolyn, Jana, etc.
-Blake made me cry EVERY CIRCLE of the show. He's amazing. I love that man. He tells me to go away this summer. (WHERE SHOULD I GO?! SUGGESTIONS?!)
-Allison tells me about certain rumors going around. Awkward. I told her all my feelings about her. Bah.
-Old Josh kind of resurfaces. Genuine happiness.
-Exams were AWFUL. Awful. I got all A's though! Except for Math... grrrr.
-Last day of NOCCA before the holidays. Loads of fun. Writing nice stuff about everyone in the room. MT games. LAJOLA FOREVER.
-Liz and Shelby have broken up by now and she's upset. I love you so much.
-Driving across the lake with my family, the Marshalls, and Rachel DeJonge to go to Jana's Christmas party. SO MUCH FUN! Singing Christmas carols and making gingerbread houses is le fun.
-Erica's not in town yet. Grrrrr.
-You and me? Wow. I love it, though. It's just crazy to think about.
-DREAMGIRLSDREAMGIRLSDREAMGIRLS. It was amazing. I cried. Ask Laura.

-Kyle Price Bergeron died on December 30th. Allison texted me from Disney and told me. I cried like a baby.
-New Years Eve! Erica picked me up, went to Ashley's, went to Ariel's, back to Ashley's, then home. Love.
-I look back on this year, and it has been an amazing ride. I love every single person I came in contact with this year. So much love.
