[The house had been quiet...too quite. Especially in comparison to what he had been dealing with for a little while now. He hadn’t noticed at first, falling into the peaceful lull that he had enjoyed before the madness that now plagued his house started. But now that the stretch of silence was lasting almost a week…well, wouldn’t anyone else’s hackles be raised?
Oh, he still ran into that...newest tenant stupid, moronic, former....person who puttered around in the mornings and stole his tea, but only (and fortunately) at the brekkie table. Anymore and there would have been a stabbing by now.
Dewi had been a constant (and easily ignorable) figure in his life for a while now, but after a recent and immensely enjoyable episode that was only the start of Arthur’s revenge, he had made himself understandably scarce.
As for the other pair that occupied his house…the fabled tenant with the hockey sticks and red decorated all around his room...well, his very existence was still a question mark. It didn’t help that he had never been seen; at least not by Arthur’s eyes. He half thought that the boy’s presence was the result of an elaborate game of make believe. Either that or that his so-called brother had a worrying case of DID. Which all things considering, wasn’t a fair stretch of imagination.
...But speaking of that particular prat...he hadn’t shown his face in a good long while - truly miracle given his recent pastime of vexing certain easily irritable house owners to no end. The twit must have either gotten bored or...
He scoffed. As if he should care about the coming and goings of his most annoying (and intrusive!) tenant. And if the idiot wasn’t around and truly had buggered off, it was all for the better. Maybe the others would follow his example...
Not willing to dwell on it any longer, he put his mind to more important matters and decided to enjoy the reprieve he had been so graciously been offered. He wasn’t wont to look gift unicorns in the mouth after all. It was best to show his appreciation through more productive efforts. Namely, by the observation log of the newest majestic creature that had taken residence in his garden, Baron von Valiantly Shining Heartsicle IV of the Rainbow Clan.]
