Blushing at being called a fanboy, Matsuda bowed to the others. "I'm Matsui Taro!" he exclaimed, using his fake name. With Kira still out there, he would continue using the name that L had assigned to him. It was easy to remember, and after saying it so many times and writing it down so many times, it came to him naturally when introducing himself. Matsuda Tatou? Who was that?

"It's very nice to meet you all!" Matsuda added hastily after introducing himself. Now that he had introduced himself, he felt out of place. Orihime and MisaMisa were already friends, and Orihime knew this... Urahara guy. So MisaMisa must too, right? So if they all knew each other, why did Orihime introduce Urahara to MisaMisa and himself? Unless Urahara didn't know MisaMisa... but if Urahara was Orihime's teacher, and Orihime was MisaMisa's friend, shouldn't she know Urahara too...?

This was all very confusing.

OOC: No worries! X3 ♥ That's what this first arc is for -- getting a feel for our characters and how exactly this system works. =3 It's a little confusing at first, but once you get used to it it's great. (I think, at least. X3 ♥)

As far as he was concerned, Subways were a fairly new invention in the scheme of things. Luckily, Urahara had a knack for adapting. This trait, paired with his tendency to create new inventions enabled him to feel that the subway system was only slightly unnerving the first time he was subjected to it. He was sure some ...other... shinigami wouldn't be nearly as tolerant of the racket the contraption made. He did still did try to walk from place to place, but in broad daylight he might as well take the least conspicuous route.

Beaming at the group, he snapped open his fan, waving it slightly. "What a pleasure to meet you all! I didn't expect to meet anyone out and about today!" He studied his new companions, curious as always. He wasn't terribly familiar with modeling, at least not in the sense Orihime meant. And something about the boy seemed off. That could just be him, after all. Nothing to worry about yet. He would just watch and observe.

Yay! She finally knew Fanboy-san's -- excuse her, Matsui-kun's -- name! "It's a pleasure to meet you, Matsui-kun!" she chirped, bowing to him again. It was like meeting him for the first time, except it was actually the second time!

"So what are you doing around here, Urahara-san?" she asked, turning to the shopkeeper. "I don't think I've ever seen you outside of Karakura. Are you on store business? Ooooh, we should all go get lunch together! MisaMisa-chan and I were going to go. You should come too, Urahara-san! And Matsui-san!" She beamed brightly at them. "Do you have time to eat?"
