Arc One Launch
Welcome to the first arc of Gods of Death and the start of Gods of Death as a whole!
What are arcs? An arc is a group of scenes that all take place during a same time-frame. When an arc has reached an ending point, mods will announce a close to the arc, open wrap threads for final posts, and time jump to a new arc.
How is this going to work? Well, with our current cast list, we're aiming for four threads. One is a Hueco Mundo thread that will be closed to all non-arrancar/overlords. However, the remaining three threads are mortal-world threads and fair game for anyone to start. Although we have a relatively small cast list, we're encouraging Death Note players to mingle with the Bleach players and vice-versa. From then on, members can join threads by posting a comment to the thread start of the scene they want to join. As we gain more members, we'll open the possibility to more threads opening.
A quick note that once you join a thread with your character, please stay in that thread unless you feel you absolutely must change to another thread. If that should happen, please contact one of the mods for permission and suggestions of where to move your character.
Also, because this is the beginning of the arc, thread order is established as people post. For example if Grimmjow posted a thread starter and Ulquiorra replied, the thread order would be Grimmjow -> Ulquiorra -> Grimmjow, etc. If Aizen joined the thread after Grimmjow posted, the order would change to Grimmjow -> Aizen -> Ulquiorra -> Grimmjow, etc. The thread order will continue to adjust itself until all the characters have joined the thread in question.
Where are we starting? The date is August 20th and summer is starting to just barely wind into fall. Nevertheless, today is sunny and a great time for picnics and swimming. Our Bleach heroes have returned from the Soul Society and are re-adjusting to the normal life. Shinigami have been dispatched to follow them to prepare them for the chance that Aizen might launch an attack on that plane. In other news, the Kira investigation has just started and L is slowly homing in on our gallant villain, the studious and totally not megalomaniac at all, Light.
