Where was I?

OK OK OK...so it has been about SEVEN months since I have wrote here. A lot has happened but not anything too crazy! haha.. So I now officially a college girl! YAY (I guess...) I must say it is much better than High School, but I think it would be even better if I wasn't so close to all the SAME people I went to High School with. I am going to Gordon College which is a junior college only about 20 minutes from my house. I am planning on going to school somewhere else next year. LaGrange.... or maybe Atlanta Christian College.... who knows.... ONLY GOD! Thats for sure.

So, what all have I been up to since I last typed?

FEBRUARY
I went to Hawaii during my Winter Break. It was pretty cool!! I loved it! So beautiful! I went to a luau, the beach, snorkling, horseback riding, etc. WONDERFUL TIME WITH THE FAMILY!!

APRIL
I went to St. Thomas, which is a part of the United States Virgin Islands, during my Spring Break. It was also extremely wonderfully beautiful to see God's great works! PRETTY! I had my hair braided by a jamacain woman on the beach. We had to ride taxis everywhere we went, which was not much because we stayed at the hotel all day, everyday. We had wristbands so we could get food at anytime. Ya know.. it was so wierd..they drive on the LEFT side of the road! Talk about scary! Their roads are so tiny and they have very few red lights. I had to cover my eyes just about everytime I got in the car with those taxi drivers!

I went to Birmingham (week after St. Thomas) to see my KELLY!! Me, Jordan, and Laura went to visit my friend, Kelly Edwards (former summer Youth Intern). We had a BLAST!!! Fun time, fun times... thanks girl! WE LOVE YOU!

I went to Prom (week after Birmingham) with Mike Moroz. It is a long story...maybe I will post pictues one day of all these fun things I did!!

Senior Week was about a week after Prom..(wow...April was busy)! We had Pajama Day, Tacky Day, College Day, Career Day, and then the Senior Picnic. It was a fun week, full of many memories that will last forever. Oh, and how could I forget Mr.Argroves getting dumped with ICE COLD water on his head.

MAY
There was Graduation. May 27th. Went pretty well although we had some riduculous rules about no hollaring, horns, and etc. and in which sorta got out of hand. This date will forever stay a memory that will last forever.

JUNE
Okay so I missed Father's Day with my daddy... I mean, I remembered it but I was not with my daddy. First time I have EVER done that before. I sure do love my daddy though and missed him lots that week! I was on my *SENIOR TRIP* in Seagrove, Florida. Seagrove is located between Panama City Beach and Destin, being about 20-30 minutes away from each. Man, did we have a totally AWESOME time!! Lots and lots of memories there! I would go back any day to beable to re live that week of independence and fun fun fun! I will be sure to put pics up soon. It was so pretty!!!

JULY
My best guy friend, Jordan, moves away to Orlando, Florida. Jordan is going to UTI with his friend, Nick Thompson, with whom he is sharing an appartment about 20 minutes away from the school.

I went to Summer Church Camp called *X-FUGE* in Panama City Beach, Florida. AWESOME time, I must say! I had a great time and experience! Too bad we had to leave a day early because of the evacuations by hurricanes, but everything happens for a reason and God has a reason...whatever that may be. Thank you, First Baptist, for the incredible trip experience!! I had an unforgetable time!

School starts...FOR EVERYONE ELSE STILL IN SCHOOL! hahahahahaha Not quite yet for us graduate college bounds! :)

AUGUST
We finally got... A NEW YOUTH MINISTER at church! That's right, Jason Morgan! We are so very blessed by God to have him. I am looking forward to what all he has in store for our church! He is a great guy!!! *Also, great family!! We definately have the TWO-IN-ONE deal going on!!

Me and my best girl friend went to see Jordan and Nick in Orlando the weekend before we started school. Left on a plane to Orlando on Thursday night and came back home on a Sunday afternoon.

That very next Monday, we officially started college. It was wierd at first and a lot different but so far, its been working out fairly well.

So.... there is a summary of the main things that went on all this time you heard nothing from me. Now it is about to be September and I am ready for what is next to come!

This weekend is Labor Day weekend. Jordan and Nick are coming up to visit on Friday night/Saturday morning. I am so excited about this weekend...I get to see my friends, go to a FREE Casting Crowns concert on Sunday night and the lead singer's church he youth ministers for, and...NO SCHOOL MONDAY! yes... thats what I'm talking about! Listen to me...havent even been in school a month and I am already ready for a break, but hey, who is never ready for a break???

OKay so I guess that will be all for now. Hopefully I am caught up now for the past over HALF year! God is awesome and PRAISE HIM for the best summer ever! I could never have done anything without Him being there through it all!

THANK YOU JESUS!!!
