Life is good.
So I have like 3 weeks left in my internship, and I'm doing well apparently. Got A's down the bored on my eval and I've had 2 patients email the school saying I was one of the best health professionals they've ever dealt with. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
I realized how much I'm gonna love this job today when I got to bid a patient good by, she came in with a bowel obstruction and in the span of 3 weeks, a lot of work and a bit of prodding she was able to walk out of the hospital today with her daughter and go home without needing any at home care of anything. She thanked me and gave me a hug and I wished them luck and then went back to keep helping the other 15 people I'm treating. I can't wait to get paid for this stuff.
In other news my brother got a job, moved home, quite pot and booze, and I'm teaching him to drive. Most excellent.
I love changeling. Seriously. The best game I've ever been to. I also think I've managed to help twist it into the dark scary thing I always thought it should be. MY love to the STs and all the crap they've put up with because that makes my saturday night.
Lastly, I love my friends and my Jess. Jess is amazing, seriously, she's awsome, makes me smile with out even having to do anything. Scott and Juli are wicked fun to live with even if we all get on each others nerves from time to time. I'm going to be sorry to see Nate and Emily go as well. Feel like a part of me's goin with em so I better get a good car to go and kidnap peoples. I miss all the people I don't see enough and I have let go of all my grudges. Life's too short.
