Sorry it took so long...
My music is like breathing to me. It calms me and centers me and focuses. I play whenever I can but have $0.00 to spend on a stand up so i have still yet to learn. I've been fooling around with a 6 string guitar and sumtimes have a chance to play with Juli but otherwise I just have no time, so it ends up being me at 3 in the morning strumming on my base wondering why Gods oh why can't I fall asleep?
If you're still living in Meriden absolutly take lessons at JC. My base instructor Nick, was a real funky jazz bassist, tought me a ton of stuff I just wished I had practiced more in highschool so I could have learned more from him. But definatly throw your support to JC music they're like the last bastion of culture in this town and I believe thier loosing money.
