New Job...

For the record this does have a little to do with my life but it also involves video games so I'm posting it. For those of you who don't know I've been working construction for about 3 weeks now. It sucks. It's like 9 to 10 hours of back breaking manual labor for $12/hr. Good money I grant you. But it'll be about an hour from campus and it really won't be worth it once winter term starts. So I quit. Then just this morning I call Lisa (the cool one that runs the art gallery)and I'm like Hi Lisa, so Jen told me that she was the only one working this wint-" She then cuts me off with "Are you applying? Because I'll hug you if you are!" So not only do I have an $8/hr job on campus but it'll prolly last into the spring. The best part of this job (and this is where it connects to video games and all that) is that all the job is, is sitting at a table at the front of the art gallery providing "Security". We are allowed something non bulky to keep us busy like a laptop or suttin. So I have fully rigged up my bag for school. It now holds the PS2, a controller, my portable DVD player (with TV hook up) and I can just set it on the ground, place the DVD player on the table and plug them into the wall and have instant pS2 with naught but a small 8 inch tv which is smaller than the average lap top. Yes ladies and gentlemen. In conclusion I am making 8/hr at roughly 32 hours a week for playing video games. Yes I rock.
Sincerely
The Marquis de Carabas
