(no subject)
In July, DH came out and we all know what happened. In August, the latest book in a series I follow (that I shan't name as I know it's on at least one person's reading list) came out and one half of the ship I was rather invested in died on the penultimate page.
We found out Remus and Tonks got married in the first chapter of DH. Ship number two had just got remarried after many books of uncertainty. I've just finished reading the first chapter of another series I follow, and it ended with an engagement. I've been reading about this couple for almost eleven years, and I had several books to catch up on then, so this is very much overdue.
Going by this year's statistics, it's not looking good, is it? :(
In fic news: I'm not going to have my fic finished in time for the metamorfic_moon Jumble deadline. The fic keeps getting more and more complicated plot-wise and I really want to do it justice as I'm pretty happy with how it's coming together. I would like to start posting it in instalments this week -- Sunday being my goal for the first, but it all depends on how close to the end I can get on Saturday, as I'd be loathe to start a posting schedule I can't keep up with.
