Happy New Year...well in 2 hours and 9 minutes
I hope you are all approaching suitably merry (with or without liquid assistance) as 2006 draws to a close.
I however find myself in a more reflective frame of mind, but that comes with the rapidly approaching delivery date for our first bub. All in all, I think this year started on pretty shakey feet, but got itself up and running and performing respectively well at the 200m hurdles. So, quite a good year.
Oh, and on more flippant things, for those who haven't partaken of Casino Royale yet, please do so. It is probably the best Bond film to come out since I entered puberty, and I do like Pierce Brosnan as 007. It is quite refreshing to get back to basics and make intelligent use of modern gadgets without drifting into the fantastic. It is probably closer to Bourne Identity than Goldeneye. So go see.
