hmmm....seems i forgot tot make a post about recent events.
on July 2nd, Trucky and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary, and on the 4th, she turned over 10000 miles.
that was a splendid event. my friends were even so thoughtful as to throw a party and have fireworks and games and food and such and such for us. it was quite touching.
about a week ago, joanna went to ozzfest for her work, and it turned out they had an extra ticket for her to go in, so she called me, and after a reluctant pause, i went. it was kinda frustrating at first cuz she had been drinking for awhile before i got there, but then we both headed down to the pit to see the last bit of disturbed's show (friggin sweet) and then the entirety of system of a down's show (also, friggin sweet). so fun was had by all. a lot of guys hit on her, and i just stood back and smirked.
the moshing never really got out of control, although i did have to save joanna from a nosedive a couple times, and this one chick that was dancing next to us got launched backwards off her feet and would have had a nice meeting with the cement if i hadn't caught her.
basically, i'm awesome.
now, to go cook some awesome chicken.
